My trip to Northern Virginia (Semi Long but good)
Ok, I decided to drive to various A/V shops today in Northern Va in order to look at new alarms. Along the way, a few suckers wanted to test the Black Max of Death. Got on route 7 East. Pull up to the first light...look around, uh oh, a white MR2 pulls up next to me. Some High Schooler and his girl. Um, I hear after market turbos? This is gonna be bad. We took off and we were even for about 27 feet until I walked him. He flashes his lights and that was the end of it. About 3 miles down the road, I get to another light. Uh oh, IS 300. Once again, the guy, looked to be in his 30's wants a little piece of the Max. So, again, I take off with the next guy. We are even til about 50mph and I start to pull on him. By the time we cut it off, it was at about 85-90 and I had AT LEAST 3 cars on him. Not hard, not too easy. He flashed me, well, techinically he flicked me off, but I look at it as a sign of respect!!!
So anyways, pull up to one more light. I am by myself and I see someone coming up quick in what looked to be a Corvette. I started to tell myself 'Why not, let's see what we can do.' The car pulls up in the lane next to me and I almost crapped myself. A Ferrari 512. There is a big white guy driving (could have been a Redskin) He was wearing his little driving gloves and looking at me intently. I figured what the heck and gave him the 'let's run gesture'. He revs his engine and we both await the green light. GREEN. Now surprisingly, I jumped him off the line. I just KNEW I was gonna add another notch to the dash board. Then we got 50 feet down the road and he had 4 car lengths on me. I normally love the sound my engine makes when I go WOT, but all I heard was this Ferrari fading slowly away in the distance. (Um, was that a sonic boom I heard??) Not only do I accept getting killed, but I will admit I was taken out back, had my hands cut off, my feet stuck in the wood chipper and the rest of me was thrown to about 60 sharks in a 4 foot wide tank of water. But you know what? It was not that bad of a feeling. Pretty cool actually. Anyways, I pull up to him at the next light, give him the thumbs up, he waves back (which I thought was cool of him since he is now wanted for murder) and flip on the DVD player to watch Black Hawk Down. That was my wonderful drive to Northern VA. Thanks for reading.
