The guy selling it lives in NY/NY.
Smells fishy? What do you think?
I found the lights in the Garage of my new house,
and this
only visible problem is in each light there is a plastic clip broken in the back

C'mon, grow up.
WHAT?!?!
ARE YOU SERIOUS?! This attitude is the reason theft exists! So, you're saying if I bought a "questionably used" part that was stolen off your car, your attitude would be "oh well" and you'd replace your stolen part? I can hear it now, "I'd claim it on insurance and get a better part." That's no good either as it raises your (actually *everyone's*) insurance rates.
That's a pretty 5hitty attitude.

Even if he did find the lights....
Even if he did find the lights in his garage (which isn't likely) he should have called up the previous owner of the house and returned them, not sell them on eBay. He is stealing them regardless of whether he "found" them or not.

Actually when you buy a house, you automatically own everything inside the house at the time of sale(unless specifically noted)

that does sound weird.. i didn't look at the auction, but it takes a good imagination to even make up a story like that! lol.. so maybe he really did.. who knows.. But there are plenty of headlight-less TLs, Maximas and other factory HID equipped higher end cars riding around NYC right now..
