Okay, this is so freakin funny. I was driving home from work tonight, around 8 pm. I get off the freeway in Santa Monica and these three Civics pull up next to me. There are three lanes, as I diagram here:

All three have exhaust tips the size of a football player's neck, and acura emblems, type r, you all know the drill (R I C E!). The first guy, who I can't really see because his seat is reclined so much, guns his engine, and I chuckle. Mind you this is Los Angeles, you can't exactly race at 8 pm on a major street. I look through his car to the other side, and this modified Mustang pulls up, looks like a Cobra, with the added chrome rollbar, ect. He reaches into his glovebox, and I'm just like, "Oh ****, I'm gonna die." Paranoid, I know, but it's LA, you never know. Instead he pulls a bag of something out, I can't tell what, and then I realize. He and his friend start throwing rice at the three Hondas. I almost ****ed in my pants, I was laughing so hard, the Hondas were boxed in and they couldn't do anything but close their windows and sunroof. The Mustang guys threw a bunch of it, and then sped off. I have NEVER seen something so funny before. I think I may put a bag in my own glovebox myself and replicate this procedure

Has anyone ever seen this before???

 

Uh... no, never seen it happen before. But if someone throws rice at my car, I'll be "throwing" some shells their way!

thats funny and all but its also a good way to get your **** kicked. if someone threw rice at me or my car i'd.....well i'll let your imagination wonder.

haha, i would have to say that that is some funny stuff. i would do something like that, yet i dont wanna get wasted my some gang members in their super high performance civic....(sarcasm) ...

 

yeah, ive done this before, i always do.
but not so risky, i only do it to people I know.
the idea was a result of working in a grocery store and boredom. my manager drive a maxima also so were always playing around.
anyway, rice was on sale, so i bought some, along with a 2 liter bottle of coke (55cents at the time). now i either throw rice or tell them that my bottle of coke has more displacement than there car.
hehe, thats pretty funny to hear a mustang doing it to strangers.

I don't care how rice a car is, I wouldn't throw objects at the other car. I'll make fun and race them but thats it. How would you feel if you invested all this money and then some a** ruins it.

Maybe if you cooked the rice first - that way it would stick but not scratch!

 

no need to throw it at the car, just honk and get their attention and toss it out the window on the ground. It gets the point across just the same. I was once shot at for throwing things at cars... The scariest thing that has ever happened to me. Do yourselves a favor, dont do something to someones ride because you never know how unstable they might be. I would probably shoot at you now too.

 

Shoot at people for throwing rice? How many people here seriously carry guns in their car. Sounds like a load of bull**** to me If someone threw rice at my car, I'd be ****ed, but frankly, I'd be more ****ed if they hucked a big gob of COOKED rice that and it stuck to the paint. Rice ain't sharp enough to wreck your paint, if it was, people would be filling pipe bombs with it

Either way, if I had 350+ hp and pulled up to a bunch of ricey civics and knew there was no chance in hell one could run with me, I'd be open to the idea of tossing rice at em too.

 

Might be fun to leave some rice on someones hood while they're parked. I think they would get the point when they come back to see a bunch of white rice on their car. Who knows maybe they'll think it's funny and messed up at the same time.

I don't think I would throw it at someone while they're in the car... that's just asking for some serious road rage action.

 

It would be even more funny if the Civic was packing a B20/VTEC engine swap with a nice turbo kit and smoked the **** out of both of you fools.

 

It would be even FUNNIER if the civic was packing a 454 hemi w/ quad turbos.

Hmm, I think I need to keep my old sparkplugs for these guys.
