My ac is on even when I turn the air off!
When I turn my air off it still comes out at my feet for some reason! I know that its air because i can change the temp of the air. Im not sure why its doing this any ideas?

yup, i have same thing happening in my 96 GLE. in the winter it was hot air hitting my feet, now its cool air. but it doesnt happen all the time. i think it only happens when i use the climate control, and then turn it off, and then the hot/cold air still hits my feet. if you turn your car off, and then start it up again, i dont think it will continue. weird i think.
RECIRCULATE button
If you have outside air selected, you effectively 'force' air in to your car as you drive. The airflow will end up at the appropriate vents depending on your setting.
Just change your mode to recirculate and you'll stop having air come in. A word of advice, humidity builds up when you have it on recirculate which can start to fog up windows pretty quickly during rainy & winter weather.
I'd advice you to keep the setting to outside air UNLESS you're driving through dusty, smelly, polluted or 'skunky' situations.
