where can i get my dash board painted? or what kinda paint should i use?

 

i must ask but why would you wanna paint your dash?
every car i have ever seen with anything inside....i cringe.

cause i want to have it white and black, i think it looks good

 

u know what do it urself ull save money, or IMO dont do it at all

 

i say to do it yourself because it do not that it should be hard. i'm planning to do it this summer. i was gonna get an aluminum dash kit, but the only ones that fit well onot he 5th gen are synthetic anyways. therefore i'm painting my interior pieces in chrome shadow (color offerred on the m3).

my plan (someone correct me or give me better advice if this is wrong):

-sand
-prime
-paint
-spray clearcoat

 

what kind of paint am i supposed to use? cause i want to do this soon.???

 

Paint looks pretty good on my dash...

 

Rust-oleum Primer
Rust-oleum METALLIC silver
Rust-oleum Crystal clear(clear-coat)

i used 220, 320 & 400 grit sandpaper

you can get all this at your local Wal-mart
