Paint stripper on urathane?

I'm going to purchase a Stillen body kit for my Maxima, but its painted a diffrent color. Can I use paint stripper on the kit to remove the paint? Will it damage the the urathane?

Thanks

Try Bulldog rubber bumper paint stripper. You can get it at Pep boys. Try it and let us know if it works.

paintstripper is really strong, and that's why it's only kept in a metal can. You could pull really messed up pranks with that thing

Don't use it, the paint stripper puts streaks in the urethane. I tried it on my front spoiler a while back, and because of it, I spent an extra 4 hours sanding.....

No, it was the paint stripper in the can. It said for most uses, so I tried it. Oh well, I learned my lesson and will share with you all....

Oh okay. Not all paint strippers are the same. I would give bull dog rubber bumper stripper a try.
