Raced a Mercedes...

Somthing new, shiny and silver, don't know exactly which model, but it looked sporty Raced on the freeway for a few miles, going back and forth, no one really getting that far ahead... That thing was pretty fast, but he kept cutting people off to get ahead of me... One thing I don't get, I know the Max has crappy stock suspension, but I have AGX, H&R's, FSTB, RSB, and 225/50/16 Kuhmo's... on a freeway interchange, I went from about 110- 80 and could feel my car sliding around the turn, He kept on it, with stock looking wheels, and passed me, didn't look like he was close to sliding either He did pull on me a bit each time we went at it, but hey, Ive got a 4 speed auto, and I kept up with that $$$$$ mercedes, so I don't care... He kept waving at me everytime he passed me, like he was gonna leave me behind... till I passed him again...

Wassup with Benzes all over the place these days? This plaza that we go to has new S classes up the you know what. Wed there was a new S600, yesterday a new S55 AMG. I didn't see the rears but the fronts were 245/45-18's. We're talking South Philly, and also tiny parking spaces.

my uncle's S55 AMG has 275s in the rear. its a 2002. but you definitely werent racing an S55. it was probably like an E320 or something. nothing special.

I never saw what model it was, I don't tend to look at the car I'm racing to much, to many other things to watch out for... He was deffinetly faster than me, and handled much better as well, but I still kept up...

Nice work.

It coulda been many a Mercedes...let's see, there's the E320, C320..pretty much anything with the 3.2L can run pretty fast.
You can forget excuse any SC'd 3.2L, as they will destroy you or the S320, as you will walk it easily.
You could run with an S430, not an E430, but as everyone says, these things were built for speed up-top.

Ok, done blabbering.

Nice run.
