I would have to go with a `95-96 model b/c of the way the trunk is shaped from the side.

I'll have to see if I can get the vin so we can find out. Yeh, that is a low drop. Probably what sparked the blaze

Body still looks relativly straight, nothing a little fiberglass and bondo can't fix... Think of it this way, it's already stripped, perfect track car...

Obviously stolen, stripped, then burned.

No handles, headlights, etc, etc.

And it looks like a 97-99 to me....but what do I know....

Plastic door handels and headlights would have been the first thing to burn.

yeah, but you'd see some residual there.....plus the mirrors are missing as well, and you can see the plastic wires from them coming out of the spot that they were in.

I think the "plastic" mirrors just burned too I can't really see any waires either

On a big fire such as that one there would be nothing left of anything plastic on the car, not even any residuals.

Even if they are steelies car strippers would have taken the rims and tires.

Hard to say what really happened to this car. There's no obvious evidence of a collision and the burn pattern is fairly even (the front looks a little more well done than the rest though). Could have been an engine fire but it almost looks like the fire was external, like it was caught in a house/garage fire or such.

It just hit me that there was a recent recall on 97-98 Max's for an electrical problem that caused a fire under the hood. Maybe?

I'm thinking it was one of those guys you see on Ebay with like 15,000 sales and all of them have to do with a Maxima.. plus he sells about 500 diferent peaces for it!!! Damn Ebayers anyway, at least they make good money and we can get some decent parts for cheap!!

I've always wondered where they get so many parts so fast..
