I agree. I hate when people tell someone that their work sucks when they don't give any ways that you can improve the work. I think it's great that we are getting represented in the ad. Also I don't think the second ad is that bad, it just needs a little tunning.

I'll give this ad thing a shot, I got a couple ideas I'd like to try out.

Greg, are you against the "hot girls in ads" thing? or is that ok?

The problem with hot girls in the ad is that you have to get their permission. If you don't Greg could have some real legal issues

 

Here is the info for the ad:
4 3/8" wide by 7 1/4" tall.
minimum of 300 dpi
CMYK file format. (but send me the proofs as .jpg)

He is correct we cannot just put up any photo of a girl without her consent, it is just asking for a lawsuit. I have a few hot friends I will take pictures of and submit them.

The girls should just be a back drop with the cars/custommaxima.com as the center of the attention. What Jason aka thebigsadler did with the girls in his sample is ideal. Girls should never be in the foreground unless they were taken next to the cars.

 

Still, a couple decent closer up high res pics would be nice....I have an idea

Umm, I think this only happens on a RARE occasion. I've had 2 orders from greg, both with minimal problems. Greg is not a CON, and Im sure I have quite a few people to back that up.

 

If you've got a beef with Greg, handle it offline, please.

 

I emailed Greg today and he got back to me in a matter of minutes. I have had many transactions with him and he has been perfect in every respect.

 

I've been trying for the past month to handle this offline.

Perhaps Greg should be soliciting ideas for his print ad offline as well

As for his ads...its the first time ive ever seen a maxima ad in a magazine...i hafta give him props no matter how the damn thing looks. I guess he's the first..and its beter than nothing..suggestions are cool..but dont bash him...or say it sucks..thats just rude.

Why should I beleive you'll listen now - I've been trying to talk to you for one day shy of a month. I still don't have a credit note on my Visa even though I cancelled more than a week ago.

I prefer to buying my mods from a company whose idea of customer service is something more than sending you to voice-mail and that answers when you send them and e-mail. I also prefer dealing with a company that doesn't bill my credit card until they've actually shipped my order. The ranting and raving, as you put it, started only after repeated attempts to resolve the problems with my order - including a post on this thread more than three hours ago -were ignored by you and your company.

If you gave me the kind of service experienced by other members of this forum, or you'd responded to any of my calls or e-mails, neither of us would be here now. You have my phone number and e-mail address - use them.

 

Greg would be in this topic anyway.
