As of this order (97MaximaSE) - Once he confirms on the E-Mail, this GD is closed.

Eveyrone who didn't reply last week - don't come crying to me if Courtesy doesn't come through.

Oooooh - YOU'RE that guy.

You didn't say in the E-Mail that you were 97MaximaSE!

I thought I was tlaking to 2 different people.

Anyway, send that E-Mail to cyberoptik@cyberhub.net anyway, it's the address I keep all my E-Mails about everyone's nformation in.

For gains and information about it all - see www.cyberhub.net/intake (like it says in the 1st post - but I'm sure you already figured that all out)

Thanks!
IanS

<Edit> - Wait - I'm confused.

You were on the list before - like say - last week?

Or just on it now? I've lost track of everyone.

Uh - yeah - I forgot you did that with the names.

From now on, I will refer to you by this name - 97MaximaSE

So that means you are not the person I just talked to. he may be our 6th Guy.

Alright.

Now that I have received these:

I am ready to take everyones first payment on the 2nd GD.

$280 - Check or Money Order.

I WILL use PayPal, but be aware that there is a $8 charge added ($288 total).

Also, since PayPal has a thing about not processing anything that takes longer than 30 days to ship, then you need to be aware that if they ask you about it, you need to say I am shipping in 2 weeks.

PayPal address is "isweeney@earthlink.net"

My home address I will send to you over E-Mail - so send mail to cyberoptik@cablespeed.com

(I know, I've got WAY too many E-mail addresses!)

Ok - so the Courtesy thing is untrue?

Anyway, I'm not mad at you or anything - just business - that's all.

I actually do have 1 ordered that noone has taken yet - Either I'll just buy it and resell it when I get it, or someone will take it before it gets here.

So if you change your mind, let me know.

THis GD is now officially closed.

The order has been put in. - 2-3 months from now they should be here.
(Actually, 2-3 months from a week ago, technically)

Man I feel sorry for all those who bailed on the GD for Courtesy - I knew it was too good to be true.

It would have been better for everyone if they hadn't jacked people around like that.....

What happened with Courtesy? I haven't seen anything lately on that deal. Was it BS? Just curious.

Rumor is that they found out how much they could really sell them for, and are raising the prices. Honestly, as a business, I'd probably do the same thing - I can't blame them.

They never officially posted that they were selling them that cheap - a customer did - that's why I was waiting to hear the truth.

The latest rumor is that they will be $650, but noone knows anything for sure yet.

Well, 7 people bailed from it, so i did get burned somewhat.

But some of those poeple had planned to bail anyway, or had already bailed and not told me - so it's all good.

It's not like I make a fortune off these anyway. I made just enough off the 9 I just sold in the 1st GD to buy an EGT Gauge.

yeah I know your not making lots of money on them but it would stink if you had to take that couple grand hit you were talking about before. I bet though you can sell them off pretty well though to people later on if you do get stuck with a few.

oh yes. Well - luckily I got ahold of my supplier before he headed off on vacation, and got him to drop those 7 from the order, so I'm not stuck paying for 7 extra manifolds...

Ian, I know that I am not in your gd, but I am glad that you didn't get stuck with those extra 7. I say, if you're going to join a GD, go through with it. Don't D!CK around with it. It's not fair to the person organizing it when you back out of the thing. When I join a GD, I go through with it, or at least find someone to take my place. Sorry. Just venting

Most folks here already know this, but if you make a deal with someone then it is your duty to stick with that deal even if it turns out later that you could possibly get a better deal somewhere else.

I feel sorry for the folks who bailed on the GD for Courtesy - They sure aren't getting a MEVI now - but most of all I'm glad that Ian's hard work wasn't repaid with a bunch of reneged-on MEVIs and $1000s of dollar in debt to an angry nissan dealer halfway across the world!

Looking forward to breathing deeply in 2-3 months...

Up to 40hp at 6800 RPMs - Peak hp gain is 10 or so hp.

But it's all about the curve.

I have sent E-Mails to maxxthiss and 97MaximaSE.

97MaximaSE responded and unfortunatley had to drop out - his spot has already been sold.

Maxxthiss never responded, so I am assuming he is out.

That means:

1 more spot open on thsi GD - First reply gets it.
