maximumpower96 replied first, but not since.

I sent Maxxthiss one more E-Mail, and he didn't respond again. In the E-Mail, I gave him a deadline, and that has passed.

Noone has taken it per-se yet. maximumpower, post here or E-Mail if you want it.

If he doesn't, andreyyy is in.

And with a SC, there's a +36hp gain on top of the fact that you're already powered until redline.

Sorry, don't have the run comparing SC without MEVI and SC with MEVI, but this is with - it's much flatter (Peak hp of 240 or so) without the MEVI.

Update:

I haven't spoken to my man in the ME - he is still on vacation until next month....So I don't have a timing update for you all - I am expecting late Feb/Early March, however, from the last news I got....will find out for sure when I hear from him again. (And I'm sure I will).

BUT, It looks like I will be able to get you guys Covers!

The price will be somewhere between $70-80 shipped to you, and will come in the box with the MEVI.

It however depends on how many of you want them.

If you want to know what it looks like, see my sig pic.

If any of you have any quesitons, E-Mail me at cyberoptik@cablespeed.com

Thanks!

Well, I spoke to my guy today. He's still on vacation, but he jumped online, so I had a chance to chat with him.

It appears there's a problem.

I asked him to order before he left on vacation. I had no reason to think he didn't, as he said he would.

Turns out, he was confused because I was also talking to him about the Courtesy deal, and how that may put me out of business.

He did not order the VI's, and won't be able to until the end of Jan, when he gets back to work from vacation.

So I will refund anyone who wants their money back, of course.

This is a pretty big slip-up on his part, but I attribute alot of it to the language barrier - something you have to deal with when dealing with people from other cultures. I let him know i can't afford this sort of thing in the future, and put him on notice that I am looking into a new supplier....hopefully that will be enough incentive for him to make sure nothing like this happens again.

So you can either bail now and I'll send you your money back, or you can hold in place, and the wait will be 2-4 months again.

For those that stay in place, I'll take $30 off each order (so when you send the 2nd 50%, send what you were going to -$30)

So total price now is $530, not $560 shipped, if you want to be patient.

If you don't, I totally understand. I'm very sorry, but this is out of my hands.

Ok guys - here is the latest:

The guy in the ME is making me look like an azz....He says he'll be on vacation for 2 months, and it's now been almost 5. I see him online now and then, and he's been evasive and not directly answering my questions.....Hotmail tells me his E-Mail box is full.

So I've spent the last few weeks calling contacts and friends and looking for a new supplier....

Before I begin, let me say that THIS IS NOT FINAL YET -

But - It looks like a new supplier has come forward!!

BUT - it will be another 12-14 weeks, and the new supplier, having not built up a trust with me yet, requires the money up front.

Because of the fact that this has taken WAY longer than it should have, and you have all been patient, I'm going to offer the VI's to all of you at my new pricing for this deal only.

$500 shipped. You all already paid $280, so just send me $220, and we'll call it even. That's $60 off the last pricing.

And here's the kicker - I will give you all free Engine Covers.

So if you want out, let me know before I place the order. If you want in, then let me know as well. I am finalizing things with this new supplier right now, checking with organizations in his country for business references, and working out the details to see if I can get these shipped even faster.

Please send E-Mail to Cyberoptik@cablespeed.com and we'll work this out.

Again - sorry for all the trouble. I want to make this right.

I'm losing money on this literally (About $60-$70 for each manifold), but I feel it's my responsibility to make you guys happy because you've been so nice and calm about this.

Thanks again for your patience,
IanS

Yes. But the cost for people who are not in the original GD will be different.

I am waiting on final pricing from the new supplier, but it SHOULD be:

$480 shipped without cover
$540 shipped with cover.

The following you will have to buy seperately:

RPM Switch ($50)
Solenoid ($30, or cheap from a junkyard)
(I may be able to get it for you for free, but not sure)
Vacuum Canister ($12 or so)
hoses
wiring

I have 2-3 spots open, depending on word from others who already talked to me on this.

At the moment, I can only get 7 of these...only reason being I need to get this rolling now for those that have been waiting.

I'm ordering 6 for those who have been waiting, and 1 for 96shogunmax.

I will however be starting a 3rd GD in a few weeks.

Need 10 people.

Once I'm ready to start it, I will start a new thread.

For you 7, I need checks sent to me within the next week to get the order going.

People who have verified they are sending money:
andreyyy

People who I have received money from:
Tagmania66
96shogunmax
MyLiverHurts
1st97SE
Scruit
98blackmaxwind

<Send me mail at cyberoptik@cablespeed.com >

There is still a VERY small chance this could fall through before I send the money to the new supplier, but I don't see how....If it does, I'll refund everyone's money, of course.

But it won't happen, I'm sure of it.

By the way, for those of you that would like to keep in constant touch, my MSN Messenger ID is isweeney98@hotmail.com

You should just PM me or send me an E-Mail.

The coil on the front driver's side of the car works fine.

There are 3 wires there - black, red, and white/green....use the white/green.
