I'd love to buy some edead, but the site isn't secure. I just went through the ordering process and there's no ssl certificate. I won't risk my number online with anyone that isn't secure... What's up with that Eric? Any other way to order?

I'm trying to find out right now. Let you know as soon as I do. I've always done mine direct, so I didnt use the site.

Hey Eric, I specialize in Miva Ecommmerce, so if you can't figure out whats wrong, I can hook you up

Most likely your domain settings aren't set up. Off the top of my head, I think its

Domain Settings > Site Configuration

Since you are using a shared certificate, you need to make sure your secure roots are something like https://host.valueweb.com/edesignaudio/etc or https://edesignaudio.valueweb.com/etc. You will have to check with your hosting provider to see how they want you to call on the server's shard certificate.

PM me if that doesn't do the trick.

Well, I just talked to the owner, and was told that once you hit submit, it is a secure transaction. It was just verified for me, although I didnt do it personally.

If you have any more problems, please let me know

Appreciated Eric, but that's no guarantee. If he was running a secure server, it would show as such before you click on order. I do this sorta thing for a living so I can't believe what can't be proven. Ah well

Im sorry Eric, but the owner is incorrect. As soon as you go to the OINF screen (the first screen in the checkout), the page should be https. There is no such thing as "as soon as you hit submit, its secure". The site is insecure, and in violation of Visa/Mastercard agreements. He could get in a lot of trouble if the information transmitted were compromised. Not to mention blacklisted and not be able to have a merchant account.

If anybody wants to order this stuff, CALL IT IN, like I will

I ordered mine online, and haven't had a problem. I'm more worried about giving my number over the phone.

Suit yourself, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. And more worried about giving out your CC over the phone than over an insecure form???

Miva Merchant was set up incorrectly and I hope the owner gets it fixed. I gave the instructions in a previous post...

Keep in mind this has nothing to do with Verisign or your secure certificate... I'm willing to help you guys out if you need it, I professionally work with Miva Script and Miva Merchant specifically...

Unfortunately, Elemental Designs must end this discount sale on Saturday the 21st. I would like to thank everyone who jumped in on the discount.

If you need any more, please hurry and get your order in. After Saturday, the only way to purchase (online), will be through:

The link to the discounted price still works, not supposed to or what? I almost used it, then remembered Eric said the deal was over.
