I think this GB is falling through.
I will email the person and ask him how you guys can contact him to buy the rotors. I'm not sure if he wants me giving out the number that I have. I will post up later today with the contact information.

Hey MaxMojo,

Like I've said b4, I'm sorry I can't come through for you on this one. BUT, I really do appreciate all the hard work you've put in to getting something for us. 20 people is a lot, and we all know that GDs work about 20% of the time.

Regardless, your guy has the best prices I've seen, so I WILL buy from him when the time comes.

Thanks a lot!

Mike

Count me in on the GD, the guy doing this for us is his number 562-225-7376 ??? cause a guy i talked to before said he would set up a GD for us for $90 front and $170 both, but i didn't know where he lived so I didn't know if I could trust him. Anyone that lives in that area code give him a call and see if his are the real stuff. Maybe we can save money.

FINAL UPDATE

No group buy needed. You can get the rotors for the Group Buy prices without 20 people.. Just call 562-307-4482, ask for Boomer and tell him you want in on the Maxima rotors..

So, same prices as the GB, without the number of people.. Order yours today or next week, same price.

Thanks for the info MaxMoJo. I just ordered mine from Boomer. I should have them by Friday and they'll be in this weekend. Sweet price. I didn't pay extra to get them coated with zinc because I figure that any coating is going to get scaped off in the first 100 or so miles. I'll post again once I get them & install them. Thanks again for the info.

I spoke to Boomer today. I told him I was interested in slotted/dimpled front/rear rotors for my 2000 SE. I made him aware that Brembo blanks are available for 5th Gen Maximas. I told him I'd rather have Brembo rotors than Autospecialty rotors. He said he'd check into Brembo availability with his distributor and get back to me.

I'll keep you posted.

I've gotten mine. I ordered them, got really good customer service, and fast delivery. Installed them & they look good & drive well so far. I recommend them. And for $180, you can beat it.

Are these ZINC plated, or just regular brembo rotors? If all Brembo rotors are zinc-plated, someone please tell me...

I forgot how much shipping was. I got mine express mailed so I paid a little more anyway. Shipping was pretty fast. He had a problem with the delivery service so there was like a 2 day delay. Once he fixed it, I got it 2 days later. He seems pretty responsive. He even took a hit on his profit to get them to me faster because of the mix-up with the delivery service. You can't go wrong with this deal.
