I dont get it , why are you 5th gen guys all excited over this? I mean if you need replacements for your stock rotor , then i guesss its a great price but why not get bigger rotors, for those with new wheels in the 18,19 and 20 in range, the stock size rotor looks stupid. I want to find a set that bigger than stock and get those dimpled and slotted. Can Boomer do this for me?

also for us guys in the northeast, we have to put on stock wheels for winter. Stock wheels won't fit over a big brake kit. so it wouldn't make sense to have to change the rotors every winter. imho

Well...I decided to call Boomer today despite the 572 area code (I dont like making long distance calls) I find out the 572 is Long Beach, CA...and I live 30-45 min away! So I save myself the cost of shipping, (minus the gas money however) and go pickup a set of Brembo rotors and PBR Metal Master brake pads....all for $265!..It would of been $20 cheaper if I paid in cash but I only had credit. A small dilemma however, he realized that he only had 2 front rotors left and no back ones. Boomer apologized for the mistake and promised to ship me the 2 back ones on wednesday free of charge.

Very Good Deal-get in on it while it lasts.

I'm highly interested in getting a set. I would like to know from the people that bought them a couple months ago how they are holding up. Any longterm issues that came up or anything.

Thanks.

Hello all,

Can I get some information on the TRW rotors for the 2001? Are they of equal quality to the Brembo rotors? Also, I have seen on some websites where they do sell Brembo's for 2001's. Are they not the same thing or are they just selling some rotors that won't fit on the cars.

I'm sure they are better than the OEM ones, but how much better?

Thanks.
