It's $429 on ebay and i don't think that includes shipping, somebody here has (had) it for $420 shipped... The reason i say had is because they sell out VERY fast

i go tmine for $230 shipped. Its an ok catback, and the hum is more for around town driving than the highway. If you want a 2.5 inch catback and dont want to pay 400-500 bucks on it, i would suggest getting this one.

just my .02

I will be in Philly next weekend. The next time that i will be that way is in the middle of February, im driving up to LI for the Big East champs for swimming.

I am less worried about the drone than I am the actual volume of the exhaust tone. I currently have a 2.5" b-pipe (cusom, non-mandrel) with an OBX muffler (kinda loud). I am looking for something that overall is more quiet. I can deal with a drone, as long as it's not loud at low rpm's and such.
Can you give me any more info on how it sounds? I will bid on it if it's something I would prefer over my current set up.

the drone is low, real low. like the kind of low that vibrates into your skull. took me a while to get used to it. I like it now, sometimes, its more fun to listen to how the exhaust is running than to listen to the same junk on the radio.

I e-mailed the seller. He said they can do $250 plus shipping for the set up. I am seriously thinking about it. It looks just like the Greddy SP (same muffler and tip), plus it's got 2 resonators, so the sound has to be quieter than what I have right now.

if you want it get because i just called obx and they told me they don't have any instock and it would cost me $285 + shipping. they told me retail was $599.

i'm not a dealer, so if you can't find an obx dealer the guy in e-bay has them at a great price.

those new fire extinguisher that obx sell are $25 + shipping. part # fe02 they are called flamebeaters. they come in red, blue & silver.

i will order 3 next week, they are hot.

good luck hope this helps.

I might jump on this deal for $250 plus shipping from this seller on e-bay. If it retails for $599, then I know it's a quality set up.

Well, after several hours of deciding, and several e-mails back and forth with the seller, I bought the OBX exhaust system. He said it is 2.5" mandrel bent, stainless steel, lifetime warranty.

Judging by the looks of it (large muffler, 2 resonators) it will defintiely be quieter than my set up, and it looks just like a Greddy SP cat-back, which is a great look.

I'll let you all know how it is when I install it in a couple of weeks.

Well, the new OBX exhaust system was delivered to my house today. I haven't been home to check it out yet, but I will tonight.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have my old system removed and the new one bolted on. I'll be sure to post an update in here once it's on.

Ok well I opened it up, it's gorgeous.

Everything is polished, bends are perfect, welds are done nice...excellent quality.

The muffler and tip are EXACTLY the same as the Greddy SP, I mean exact! They must have copied the design to a T!

I used some Mothers Polish and polished the tip and muffler up a little more, now they are gleaming and ready to be installed tomorrow

ThurzNite- if I wanted an Apex-i, I would have bought it

That question I will not be able to answer until tomorrow.

Although I am not really sure how the Greddy SP sounds combined with a y-pipe, I've only heard it by itself.

Hopefully this set-up will provide relatively low exhaust volume with my y-pipe.

don't forget to get on the highway to see if you get the huummm in side the car when doing 65- 75mph.

good luck on your new system.

p.s. i think you should use a little more mother's on the tip.

perhaps give them a call. They've been good to Altimas.Net members, so maybe work that into your conversation. So far, I've only heard good reviews about them. Good luck.

My bro's taking the Apexi RS off his 2k Max (stillen intake, stillen Y, custom 2.5" mandrel catback with Apexi RS, hyperground, Jet V-Force chip). He gets pulled over once a month for the exhaust. But it sounds mean, like an older Mustang muscle car.

Anyways, He's giving the RS to me. I'm all stock right now, but I'll have a prototype JWT Y in a few days.
