I went to my dad and asked him to examine the bushings and tell me what he thought they were (without asking rubber or polyurethane) and he said that they were polyurethane so i'm trusting his opinion on this matter.

 

Your brushings look like mine in the pic posted above dont they? I have no clue what any of this stuff looks like, so I want to make sure my brushings are poly.

Now we got that sorted out we need to get on Addco to send us the missing parts. If addco had good CS then they would overnight us the parts to make up for their mistake.

Man, that doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence in Southwest. A swaybar with only 2 mounting points? How could it possibly work?

 

...we need all the parts listed in the FAQ "How To Install An ADDCO..." post. That would be 4 bushings, 4 two piece brackets, 2 "U" bolts and 2 (refered to as) "J" bolts - with 8 associated nuts/washers. ADDCO makes black graphite impregnated polyurethane bushings. I was told by SWA our order would include poly bushings. Without all the parts, installation is not possible, (barring the old duct tape wrap two step)!!!

Alex has been having trouble with maxima.org like we all have, but heres what he said.

Wow, after two days, and nine tries to post something, I hope to god this goes thru.

A) We know about the problem, thank you to the 26 people who called and e-mailed, and called. Please note that we are not pulling a prank (funny reply from a member on the org), and no, as you all can tell, we didn't open boxes, so Addco forgot a little something in every box. Thanks Addco.....
B) We tried calling Sim at Addco, he blew us off, no call back return today, we'll try tomorrow.
C) We are here, I just cannot get on this site. I have tried many times.
D) We have been running off of dialup (since our phone company f_ _ _ed us on our DSL, that's why I am slow to respond, please don't think we're blowing anyone off
E) After thinking about this, either Addco doesn't know how to count (lol) or they just forgot how special we are for having Maximas

Anyway, I hope that now everyone knows we know about the problem. Thank you to everyone for letting us know. I will contact Addco, and clear up things first thing in the morning.

An honest reply to that would be
YES.... if I had those pieces.

This is the first time we've ever dealt with Addco, so the experience was new to us as well.
Secondly, this rests solely on Addco's shoulders, so yes, they should ship them out NOT GROUND, but priority (meaning ASAP). As you all know, as a long time member of this board, and a long time supporter, and I've never EVER left anyone out there with a problem, without taking care of business, so I promise you all, I will do my best to get parts out to everyone ASAP.

just to let you guys konw....ADDCO didn't FUQ the WHOLE order up...i got ALL the peices....

THE BAR(paint is cracking for some reason[making sounds])

AND 8 washers.....DID you guys recieve the washers???

But what i am really worried about is that are these poly U bushings or not? we are promised poly bushings but someone mentioned that the ones we got are made of rubber, i personally couldn't tell but i wouldn't even order these if they came with rubber bushings. some one clear this up pls?

I'm not sure, but I think you can buy the stuff to powdercoat nowadays, for not very much at all. I believe I saw it on one of those TNN car shows on the weekend as part of their recommended products segments.
