An update:

I just got back from umnitza's place. My headlight are being cooked in the oven at this time. He showed me some examples of the rings on the bmw's. They looked very nice. I have a good feeling about the look of it on the max. As soon as I get everything installed I will post some pics. (I am sure he will do the same). But just wanted to let you guys know that thewheels are moving today and they are getting closer to finally having this project done.

THEY ARE ON!!!!! I like the way it looks personally. I have only had the chance to see them in the daylight. So far I like the mod. I wil see how it looks tonight. I am going out right now so I am not going to be able to post any pics today. Umnitza did take some pics and he told me he would be posting them on soon.

BTW: He did try to make an attempt to steal my money and make a run for mexico with my HID's......

J/K!! I think you will all be pleased.

These are daylight ONLY.
Ruben has night shots with him. We couldn't take any other shots, and due to Ruben's time constraints, we couldn't get a video done of the car driving away in the hot, and I mean HOT, glaring sun where you could see the car coming at you, winking

Umnitza, is the actual color yellowish or white? I see it's yellowish, but it could be due to the sunlight. Must see night-time pictures.

I knew you'd get a kick out of them.

Night pics will have to be done by Ruben. I couldn't stick around too long. I had a 6+ hour drive back home and wanted to get home.

Here's what's going to happen.

There are 26 people that have paid $50 each for the right to pay $180 + shipping to purchase the FIRST batch of 50.

That leaves 24 places left. Now, the kit was actually a little cheaper to produce than we expected. So, instead of the entry price of $275 (after the 50 initial @ 180+shipping), it will be $250 + shipping.

This is a different product in a few ways (which I won't bore with the details of), but suffice it to say, we are ready with it.

Now, for the crucial final details:
1) We will be shipping this immediately upon payment + 2 weeks. Meaning, you pay today ($140 total - shipping and remainder of deposit), and you get your kit in 2 weeks <-- just enough time for me to finish the install guide and video.

2) All those of you NOT on the first 50, will still be eligible to receive the $250 + s/h price point indefinitely.

3) We are scheduling an install "party" for 3 weeks out. End of June. June 28th, for 6 lucky participants. EACH of you will spend $100 to get the product installed for you by the same professional hands that did Ruben's.
The caveat - you'll have to have removed your headlights from your car (a 5 minute procedure) and remove the light bulbs from them as well. And, you will have to "move" somewhere else to party and leave the workers alone until they are finished with your headlights

Normal installations for the BMW side of it are $150, but this is a relatively straight forward installation. Body shops charge $350.

I have a map of certified installers in the country for you guys

4) Color is dependent on 3 factors:
a) daylight
b) ring color
c) filter color

a) - daylight will tend to wash out even HIDs, so YMMV
b) - ring color - we have HID Blue and clear - I prefer clears on ALL occassions.
c) - filters are 24 to a bunch, but we're still working on some better ones.

4) For those of you that are retailers, I'm open to discussion.

5) Finally, how do I pay???
Well, the email address that you pay to will change (in 20 minutes).

All payments will be made to umnitza@pacbell.net.
If you've paid $50 to jsp98m3@apexcone.com you owe ME (umnitza@pacbell.net) $140 total.
If you've NOT paid to jsp98m3@apexcone.com you owe ME (umnitza@pacbell.net) $190 total.
If you've NOT paid within the next 24 spots, you owe ME (umnitza@pacbell.net) $250+s/h total.

If you want to sign up for the 6 spots, you will need to be prepared to deposit $25 to secure your spot. We are going to get some people lined up, some photography, etc. So, we don't want last minute "Sorry, I can't make it"

Any questions, you have my email

one more thing - deposits aren't really being taken now.
If you've deposited already, it's $140, if you've NOT depositive, total is $180 + s/h.

I'll have it on the site in short order

Ok, I live in Toronto, Canada and have made the $50 deposit a long time back. Now my question is, how much do I have to pay ontop of the $140? Below is my address. What method of shipping do you use to Canada?

Sorry about the PM!!! Does this work w/ 2k headlights, or only the 2k3 HID's??? If this was already asked, I'm sorry. Too lazy to skim through the 550+ posts made in this thread!!!

Talk to umnitza about that. He is in the process of making some filters for the kit. That is what he told me.
