the install is not too bad, you need to drill into the housing in a couple spots, but if you know what you are doing you should be able to finish in 2 hours start to finish.

4) That's true and sounds scary, but when you see the video, you'll be surprised.

As for the special drill, I actually figured out that you don't so much need a special drill as you need a long drill bit (over 1') and you'll be set - that's much cheaper than a special drill

Because of your reflector design, the HID will literally obliterate the ring at night OR, and this is the likelier scenario during the day...it will make the low beam ring apear whitish blue Kind of cool if you ask me

I think $180 is including shipping.

shipping is $10.

"look like this" - those "eyes" were shot with a long exposure and those particular "eyes" are done with some strange CCFL tubing that probably broke 3 days later.

We'll also have it, but neon doesn't work that well in the car
Neither do glow-sticks

I'm going to bed, email going out in the morning.

Ok, sorry for the delay, payments are flowing in, I'd like remind folks that the first 50 get the $190 shipped deal, after that...it goes up.

I think Ruben's night pics are a little off, but it might be his camera.

My camera isnt the greatest one. It is kinda old (2 or 3 years old). The pics dont do justice on how great these things look.

Does anyone know the size offhand? Without opening up the head lights, it is a little had to measure, and Lisa said she needs the size.

I was told by Umnitza that he is in the process of producing new, better colored filters for the kit. Didnt go into specifics but he said they will be much better, so I'm waiting for those to come out

What is involved in changing the color? How many different colors are there? And a dumb question...when and how do they come on?

I'm new to this thread...I just read almost the entire thing. But I'm very interested in doing this, especially since I was planning on opening my HIDs soon to clear them anyway.

Changing the color is real easy. All you have to do is put a filter in the light box and that will change the color of the rods and the rings. As far as how many colors there are I dont know. The rings on the DDE's turn on depending on what you wire them to. If its the parking light, then they will turn on when the parking lights are on. But if you wire them to the headlights, then only when the headlights are on.
