1) So the total for the entire kit is $180 plus shipping?
2) How are the rings attached to the inner headlight housing? Do they have to be glued on?
3) Will you ship to Toronto Canada, and can you declare the package at a lower cost when shipping so I can avoid paying expensive duties when it crosses the border?
4) Also can you post up a list of how many people we have so far in this deal?

Thanks,
Nathan
1) Yes
2) No glue, it's all clips
3) Shhhhhh - so you'd like me to break the law? and leave evidence by stating it publicly?
4) I will tomorrow.

Due to my late post, I misprinted the email address.
If you HAVE sent a deposit to the misprinted email address, please double check that it's going to JSP98M3@APEXCONE.COM

the better answer would be if you have a 2k and 2k1 with 2k2 or 2k3 HID's, then yes. remember, it's made to shape around the ring of the 2k2 and 2k3 HID's. they look like this (only to clarify confusion amongst newbies or those that are completely lost)

Isn't there a lot of hype about the seal on the lights being broken...something to do with moisture or something?

I'm interested, but reluctant because of HID thefts...

but we'll see.... how many people do you have so far?

Moisture in the headlight isnt that big of a deal if you reseal the headlights properly. I've taken apart many headlights before and havent had a problem with moisture so far.

This is absolutely true.
As long as the atmosphere INSIDE the headlight is the same as the atmosphere outside, you'll have no issues.

There might be some fogging at first, but it will go away within a day or so, and that's normal.

We're at 7-10, will know once I get through the emails and Jim gets through his.

As with the IS guys, we'll designate one or two folks in the country who have become proficient at the installs.

Hi, just wondering if you're going to post up a list of the people that have already paid, I just want to get an idea as to the interest in this. If there's enough people, the money will be paypaled asap.

NATHAN: Do you trust me enough to pay the $50 via PayPal for me when you do? My PayPal is still not on the go .. Anish can be my reference ... he lent me about $700 USD via PayPal and I paid him back w/i a month.

POLO or Umnitza ... $180 + shipping is simply just for the rings? Not the install and reseal? I thought someone was going to provide a service to install the rings, paint the inner housing and reseal it ... I'm lazy

Yeah man no prob. I think I've lent you more than that before

I'm just waiting for Umnitza to post a list of people who paid until I send my payment.

I think umnitza needs to show how the angel eyes look on a Maxima before asking everyone for a deposit. I mean.... it might look nice on the IS300, but it might not be as nice as when it's equipped in a Maxima. If only I could see those pictures, it will really help in my decision making and I will probably make a deposit because I have been wanting these.

This is exactly right.

If we get 50 deposits, we make 50 kits. It helps us do the two most important things:
Stick our neck out without fear that the knife might cut all the way through
Confirm that there is more than just hype behind the customer's wanting this setup.

In any case. If you want to pay more, you're welcome to fund the whole development of the kits - it's $5500 All we're asking is that if 50 of you sign up, then 50 will receive the kits.

Extra lightbulbs are not really necessary as these bulbs that we finally are getting from our supplier are high quality 3000 hour variety. If any one of them ever fails, we'll send you a new one - no questions asked.

Ok but what about a full payment for one kit instead of 50 deposits for 50 kits? Cant you just make them as you go along or make them as you get payments for each one? I'll pay the $180 now if you say I can have a kit. 50 people is alot. Are there even 50 guys IMO w/HIDs??? Anyway...I'll pay the cost up front to get mine now. Is this possible? Just asking...

Seems like an easy task to me to do....I be willing to offer my service of clearing HID's & paint inside housing black (like my lights) & installing Angel Eyes for a fee. But first let me install the Angel Eyes on my lights & make sure its trouble free.

I've already cleared out 3 2K2 HID's & painted them black.

Ditto....I was wondering this too....the Gauge Pillars took awhile to get 50 people & now its a huge demand....Same with these, its going to take awhile to get 50 people, but also people are gonna just sit back & wait till someone does it & posts feedback on whether or not it was hard or not to install, before they make the decision to buys this.

I really don't see 50 people stepping up to the plate here. Can we just special order the Angel Eyes by telling them the lenght of each circle & the diameter. And they can make it w/ those spec. including clips?

These are really good ideas guys. I guess the issue for me is "track-ability".

a) you're funding the development - not the kit cost - of the kit by funding 50.
b) the $130 remainder plus shipping will be paid to me to cover my materials costs to put the kit together, since we'll be doing that AFTER we pay for the mold.
c) If we don't have 50 people by Jan 31st (which is a good amount of time still) we'll just come back and have the existing folks help try to go for it.
d) No, you can't do the circle/diameter custom. Not unless you want to spend $10K+ on the molds for each. And, even that number is low by comparison. We're holding costs down by reusing some of our existing technology and passing those savings to you. Otherwise the cost of the kits would be close to $350 or more.
e) As with the other setups, we've gotten it to the point where we have two reliable folks doing the installs, a third available once Desert Storm II finishes (he's on 'leave')

No worries folks, we'll help make it happen

Yeah I guess we will have to wait until 50 people make the $50 deposit before you can start the manufacturing process, unless we want the price of the entire kit to go up. I personally don't think there's 50 people out there willing to give this a try. If there seems to be more interest in this by next week, I'll send my $50 deposit.

Thanks Umnitza But like Umnitza said if he doesn't meet the required 50 deposits he will refund the deposits that were put down. It's not like your losing anything. Me, I would like to see 50 deposits go through. I really do like the demon-Eye look. But if the required 50 doesn't go through I can always get my deposit back and just wait.

well stated, if umnitza wont send you yor money back, which I highly doubt, you can easily request your money back from paypal with no problems. If everyone is doing this "Ill send it in when I see 50" crap, these eyes wont happen. Moreover, it shows your not serious. Everyone please put down your deposits, they are FULLY REFUNDABLE

i would love to put down 50. but i don't have enough to pay the rest by jan 31. i mean, money will come in, but its just time that matters. so if you can extend the date and more likely you will get 50 people by then. then i can pay it off.

one question for anyone to answer... is this legal in IL?
