one question for anyone to answer... is this legal in IL?
of coarse, its completely legal. As for the payment u ontl need 50 by jan 31st. The rest can be paid later...

I guess I don't understand the "I'll contribute if I see more people contributing" phenomena.

If you contribute, you contribute because you want a good product, not because you have friends or others that contribute.

How do you think you reach 50

I will put the money down...

But I need to know that I will have someone to help me with the install first. I have really no experience working on cars, as this is my first nice one, and I wouldn't feel comfortable going at it alone. Is there somebody in the Atlanta area that would be willing to help me out with this? Yes, I already posted in the SouthEast forum. I just want to know if there is somebody in ATL following this thread that would be willing to help. If so, I will put the money down ASAP.

Thanks
Lloyd

I am in

Ok guys, I stepped up and put in my $50. And I am not sure if I even want to do it yet. If not, I am sure there will be people who would want to buy it off me.

So come on everyone. There had to be close to 50 people in all those other threads who couldn't wait for this. Time to act is now.

I congratulate Umnitza on getting this going.

Anyone else in Chicago planning on doing this?

I did it!

Okay everybody,

I just sent in my $50. Guys, PLEASE put your deposits forward! When I was shopping for a car, this is one of the reasons I was disappointed that I didn't go with the Bimmer. I LOVE these headlights! Now we have a chance to get them on our Max's. PLEASE don't blow it!

How will these work?

Polo or Umn...

How will this work? Will these be wired so that they are on while your HIDs are on or when your parking lights are on, or both? The rings themselves are a white light, correct? Sent my deposit in!

Thanks!

they work however you wire. you can run them to a switch and control them yourself, or tap them into any wires through a relay as the active wire. i plan on tapping it into my clearance lights, so they turn on with those. that, i feel, would be the best look for it.

that would require R&D as far as ring sizing is concerned. and also to have someone send away the headlight for him to see if it's feasible. umnitza will give you more info on that.

ToasterMax. If you want or need help with your install hit up PoLo. He was the originator of this idea. Much props to PoLo and Umnitza. Without them there wouldn't be Demon-Eyes for our 2002-2003 HID headlights.

yeah, those are pictures of what the shape of the rings will look like, but ours will be brighter....much much brighter.
props to whoever that is though, for the whole DIY.
i'm being patient, but i also can't wait. we've waited long enough for this, and finally it's reality.

I love the look. I do think they look a little yellow, or "Halogeny" but other than that, they look pretty good on the first Max I've ever seen them on. I can't wait to get them on mine!

Well, I just lost my whole reply to this thread.

It's really scary that you lose everything if the server is busy.

I don't know how I lost the subscription to this thread either.

We are releasing two other products right now, so have been a bit busy.

https://www.paypal.com/xclick/busine...rency_code=USD

We have 2 more entrants, plus 3 more claiming Money Order or Personal Check delivery.

I hope that they go all the way around and not leave a piece missing.
Also can you post the names of eveyone that has committed and that are sending money.

example:

LatinMax Paid
whoever mailed payment

Just an idea.

Now for my comments:

That picture is GREAT on the Maxima because it serves two key purposes:

1) Proves that it's possible and looks "decent"
2) Proves that OUR technology works.

Huh?

Well, if you look closely at the rings, they appear to be Gen III rings - they have barrel connectors on the end of the them. This loses some light, but not all

The Gen IV kit that you will be receiving actually has a brighter "WHITISH" glow to it, not the "halogen'ic" glow.

Each and every time today that I've tried to access this site to provide an update of some sort, it's busy.

You guys sure like your Maxima.org

Give me a little more time - we had some additional entrants for sure, but Jim's daughter is sick, so he's not looking at emails - we probably have more, but once I compile the list, I'll post it.

oh come on...what's up with this guys...only 10?????

you've been begging for this since 2k2's came out, and they do and you just like to read the post. over 2000 views and 10 people are willing to help out. this is just disgusting.

reminder, this is 180 for the first 50 people ONLY. after that, the prices can vary from 225-250.
if fitment is what you'e scared of, we've already shown you how they fit, and that this is simply helping pay for the production of these.

this is how the IS300 forum did it. it's not any different. i know people can push out $50 if they REALLY want this. i didn't have matt go through all this fidgeting to get this to fit for nohting.
