they were shipped out on monday so u can expect to get yours between friday (if your lucky) and tuesday or wednesday worst scenario.....

i dont think i'll be coming to NY anytime soon, a lot of customers from there, they might beat me up

guys, real sorry, i just got an email from him saying he just shipped them today. He is running a business and doing this group deal on the side and its such a big freight to be shipped 150 miles from him, it took several trips and, well i'll just let u guys see the email. The good thing is that they have been sent and i confirmed it with him, bad news is that it was just sent like this morning.

they have been sent out UPS. the two people who have just sent payment, he obviously havent received yet since they werent paypal, that includes u spritokzovz(dont knkow how to spell your name lol). But he'll be able to ship once he gets it, he has it in his warehouse ready to go out.

does this apply to the ones that he said he shipped out on monday (for those of us who had to send back bad rears)... i'm assuming it does, but really really hoping it doesn't, cause gd or not, this is getting ridiculous considering that these were paid for on march 2nd...

 

No offence to you Mecca but this is getting ridiculous. Your guy keeps telling us that he shipped the struts out the past "Monday". We all get our hopes up and make plans to do the installs only to get told a day or two later that he never sent them for one reason or another. How about he provides proof that he did ship them out this time, like say a tracking number? I'm afraid to say it but I'm starting to get the same feeling I had when I got screwed by the roadbeast saga.

unfortunately it does, i know its gay how u guys waited over a month for these, i really dont know what to say, if i had the slightest bit of power or if he was remotely near me, i would have helped in making things go faster but he's on the opposite side of the border and all i could do is tell u guys what he told me

i don't think we will be screwed on this deal.. seeing that we techinically did receive the struts. but bad rear ones.. not really your sellers fault (but he should have check them before shipping).. that is what we get when we want to save a few bucks..

i cant begin to thank u guys for not ringing my neck and not jumping on the seller for this, i would honestly go ballistic if this happened to me and those from the first OBX group deal know how i am with patience and waiting for products. He's a good guy though, just ran into problems and he actually lost money through this group deal because of the hefty shipping back and forth but still went through with it cause he really likes this community and wants to continue doing business with everyone.

Everyone and anyone when u receive your shocks, please post here to bring a little positiveness to the group deal

 

shouldn't the distributor refund him the shipping costs?? and one more thing, did he refund all of our shipping cost for the ones that had to send the bad ones back??

 

after all this drama, what does it matter....i think i'm gettin rid of the car....it's just not making me smile anymore...

ok well i sent the money order out today, i hope i wont run into any troubles or anything with this. i really would like to have the shocks at my house between the 25th of april to the 9th of may since that will be the ONLY time i will be at home for another 4 months or so! does he ship these things out in blocks...meaning, when he receives 5 payments, THEN he sends them out, or does he send it out upon receiving payment for each individual person? please let me know...thanks!

Relax guys..he just shipped them out on friday the 11th..saturday i HOPE is a mail day.. sunday is closed..so today was only the 2nd day its been on the ground...to reach NY maybe itll take another 4 days or so... hopefully

Mine came in on Tuesday (4/15) in Los Angeles. I was a little worried when I noticed that one of the threaded rods was sticking out of the side of the box when the UPS guy delivered them. They seem fine though - the threads are good, and the shaft doesn't seem to be bent.
