We need 1 more person if everyone listed below is in. turbo 97 se already got his order in so he is number 1. if you are in this deal email me or say so here. REMEMBER PLEASE, IF WE DON'T HAVE 10 PEOPLE WE WON'T GET THE DEAL. ONLY SAY YOUR IN IF YOU ARE SURE. thanks guys!

The way this deal will be managed is like this, after we get 10 people, i will get your names, i will then call in and give Nick your names. And then i will have you call him up and order. Things look good right now, probably next week we should have at least 10 people.
after ordering it will be 3-5 weeks to be delivered. Just in time for all the shows. Have a good one.

Hey Sleeper..I think I may be able to count

on the GD because although I was working with Jonas and not Nick, I did mention to Jonas that I would be working the Maxima.org to get something going -without realizing you had apparently been doing that already....

I'm still in. Do we need to decide on extras right away and say so up front or can we think about it? I'm still contemplating 2 piece rotors, powdercoating and such.
    thanks

you have until we get 10 people to decide what you want to get. when i give you the go ahead to call and order then you will need to let them know what you want, they will then write up the invoice, etc..

Nope. I've already got a kit I made. I'm just very familiar with the Wilwood line and know the Superlite IIA is cheaper than the Billet Dynalite calipers.
If they're using the Superlite III, then the price is justified, as they're about $50 more each.

I also believe the mounting bracket is different due to the geometry of the caliper. that would also justify some additional cost since another adapter bracket would have to be made.

The SL IIa are about the same price as BDL but the IIIs are much more (almost $75 each)... The prices can vary even with the same model...depends on whether or not they are staggered piston sizes and the rotor thicknes...

BDL use 5.25" mounts while the SL use 3.5"...

Someone please convince Jane. I'm sure Delos, Delio, Lery, and Jeff can. She's thinking JIC's, but this deal isn't going to come back anytime soon.

I held off waaaaayy too long for a brake upgrade. This is an awesome deal! I can't wait to get those bad boys on! I had requested slotted only rotors, but think the crossdrilled ones would look better. What do you guys think? I don't want the rotors to crack or anything.

Jane, you really should get some brakes for your nice S/C Max so you can slow down as safely as you can speed up (dangerously ) You need these more badly than the JICs. Plus you can see these much better behind the wheel!

Is the precision brakes website down or something? I can't seem to get on to decide what I want. I may be your 10th though since I'll be getting TURBO this summer. What setup are you guys going with? Convince me and I'll be your savior.

        rotor option

there are 2 rotor sizes available, first of all the one piece rotor that comes with the basic kit is .810 thick.
and the 2 piece rotor has the .810 thickness for 180 more and the 1 1/4 thickness for 280 more.
basic kit is $999.00 w/10 percent off will be $899.00 plus shipping of your choice at your cost.
ok, one piece 13 inch rotor w/ superlite caliper will be $989.00 plus shipping.

The differences you're going to see in braking between this kit and the AP kit won't be enough to justify the difference in cost.
this kit will be able to handle the braking needs of 99.999% of the drivers out there. if it doesn't, then you should be driving something with a roll cage in it.

Delos, could you please give Jane a total for 2 piece rotors (1.25" thick) and 4 pot Superlite calipers?

We are lost because there are numbers all over the thread.

        Thanks.
