Great Deal: PowerSlot rotors and Hawk pads...

... you may have read some of my previous posts debating crossdrilled/slotted verses slotted rotors. I had been watching an Ebay seller that had front PowerSlot (slotted) rotors for "buy it now" at $165.00. He was also advertising Hawk brakepads for an additional price. I emailed him asking it he had rear PowerSlot rotors as well and got a reply with his company name and phone number. I called him and explained that if the deal was a good one that I might post it on the maxima.org site.

The short story is this - he reduced the fronts from $165.00 to $150.00 and the rears from $193.00 to $177.00, shipping he reduced to $10.00 for the complete set - total $338.00! As if the deal could get better he threw in front and rear Hawk breakpads for $72.00. Four PowerSlot rotors with pads shipped for $410.00. Not the least expensive but I have seen a lot of posts advising, you get what you pay for, and cheap is not always the least expensive in the long run. The PowerSlot rotors are also cadmium plated ("military spec") to prevent rusting. Bottom line for me was, I wanted the PowerSlots and got a price I am happy with. He is willing to do the same deal for other .org members.

The guys name is Andy Rodriguez, Bonwitt Enterprises Inc. Miami FL 33186, Ph 305-251-7018, Ebay id: mopar.parts@gte.net. Mention you saw this deal on the Maxima.org site. Andy was friendly and easy to deal with. I'll have to modify my mods list soon... Be Safe, Mark V.
