and i have the switch hooked up to the remote wire, the tv turns on automatically when the car goes on, and when i shut it off it turns off but when i go to turn it back on, IT WON"T GO BACK ON!

If you mean the tv won't turn back on when the car is off, Im pretty sure there's a way to overide that, but if you think about it, it's probably best the way you have it. Use of something like a tv while the car is off, might be a HUGE drain to your battery. Who wants to be stranded in some parking lot because they were playing Vice City too long while waiting on there girl with the car off! Not me.....

I cant make it to Underpaid Slaves (UPS)today. both of you please send me emails so that I can make sure I am sending them to the right adresses.

it's not hard at all. When you take your dash apart, you'll see how the radio fits in there. You basically just have to squeze the screen between the two metal pieces that normally held the radio. You may need to trim down the plastic on the sides of the screen to make a perfect fit. I did it in my friend's car and I think it came out ok

Cool thanks for the info erty67. But if anything, fitment will probably be the thing that I manage perfectly, its the wiring that Im most likely to fudge up. I noticed the tv had 3 wires, Im familiar with one of them (ground), but have no idea where the other two are going to go. I don't have the aftermarket HU just yet, so I can't really just get in there and try make things happen. Can you offer me any tips?

black = ground
red = +12v(constant)
orange = switched +12V(switches on/off with ignition)
yellow = video input
The red wire will most likely hook up to the same source as the yellow wire on an aftermarket HU. The orange will most likely hook to the same source as the red on an aftermarket HU. The DVD/PS2 will have a red, white, and yellow a/v jack. The red and white will hook up to the input of the HU. The yellow will hook up to the yellow on the screen.

If you're looking to use the factory Bose speakers, DR0832 has a adapter for sale that makes the aftermarket HU connect directly into the Bose harnesses. I think he wants about $50 for it
Yeah your right, it is 4 wires. Guess I meant to say, 3 wires that appear as if they'll have to be spliced into something, my bad. Thanks again for the info. In about a paragraph worth of information, you've done what almost 30 printed pages off the internet couldn't.....make the situation easier!! One last question though. These three wires I mentioned earlier, they'll have to be spliced into the factory wiring right, or do I need to buy connectors for these too? Where did you put your ground?
