So it's $650 for Mevi, cover and install kit...Shipped?
What does it usually cost for installation and what places could do that for me?

Yep, $650 shipped with everything.....

You can do the install yourself...it's not that hard...just get a Chilton's manual and read up on how to remove the manifold, and it's cake from there.

You could also probably find other local .org members to help you.

Everyone I know has done it themselves, so I don't know what labor would be...probably quite expensive, because while it's not mentally hard to do, it does take 6-8 hours the first time you do it.

There's also a decent write-up on how to do it on vqpower.com, I believe.

I'm in....
I can be ready as early as thursday the 24th, if need be, or may 8th.

Sucks getting paid bi-weekly.

I want to get in on this GD as well, but paying now and then having to wait for upto 10 weeks makes me a little uneasy. Is it still a 10 week wait at this point? I am definetly interested in the MEVI + cover + install kit.

Is there any possibility of a local pickup?

Thanks.

Do you live in Seattle?

Anyway - I can't do any better than that. I don't own Nissan, unfortunately.

I MAY be able to do 50% down now, 50% later, but I'm still waiting to earn my supplier's trust before he'll let me do that.

You realize ANYTHING that's inported like this will have this sort of waiting period. Do some research on him and see that this is a 100% reliable seller. I did before I put my name on the list. This is about the ONLY way you're going to get a MEVI.

It's DEFINITELY the best.

I know who Ian is and trusting him is not an issue. It is just the fact that I would be dishing a lot of money out and will probably be waiting about 3 months before I even get the unit. I know that is the only option now to get it brand new. But I see a couple of new ones for sale in the classifieds. I might give that a shot so I can get it right away and if that falls through then get in on this.

Ian, would it be possible to get just an install kit and/or cover right away or is there a long wait for that too?

Sorry - I don't sell the cover and kit seperately from the VI at this time.

Nevermind - heard from Harlan....he can fill a large order.

So the kits are now 100% officially for sale to VI buyers.

FYI to everyone - PayPal is fine, but I prefer you send a check/Money order.

PayPal once locked my account after a bunch of people sent me money when i started the 1st GD for "unexplained amount of transactions". It took me a week to get them to just refund everyone's money....and 20 phone calls and alot of rude CS people.

So if you can avoid PayPal, that would be nice, but not a must.

If you must use PayPal, add $15 for the transaction fee.

Anyway - welcome aboard...you're in!

Do you want the install kit or anything?

1 left!!

No problem. Thanks for not leaving me hanging.

note to everyone:

After you put your money down, if you want to back out, you'll have to wait until I sell th spot to someone else and receive their money before I can refund you. (Or you could simply sell your spot to someone else yourself)

Well, it doesn't seem like the other people are going to show up to complete this GD.

So unless someone comes in over the next few days, I'm going to close it down.

I just finished verifying with the supplier that he is able to take orders right now, and I will be asking for money soon. About 1 week.

Whoever is considering getting in on this GD, here's your last chance!

Great news!!!!

I only need 50% down for this GD for the VI's!!!

However, I need the full amount for the Install Kit so that I can put it together for you guys.

So if you are getting the install kit and the VI with cover (As most of you are) it would be:

$540 * 50% = $270 + $110 = $380 first payment
$270 2nd payment
Total = $650

I will be PM'ing/E-Mailing you each with payment details in a few minutes.

Thanks!

If you do not receive your mail, send mail to cyberoptik@cablespeed.com with the following information:

.org name
Full Name

Phone Number

I will then reply back with a Mailing address to send the check/money order to.

Once I receive everyones money, I will place the order.

Thanks!

Well, everyone is in the process of paying now except for SupermaxGxe, who I have sent 3 E-Mails to with no reply.

If he doesn't respond soon, I'll just take him off the list and move on with it.

Please contact me by Wednesday, May 21st, or else I will have to drop you from the GD.
