Sorry everyone - not getting updates to this thread.
The supplier has 1/2 of the items in stock now, and is waiting for the rest.
He gave me a generalized estimate of 2-3 weeks.
I will probably be asking for the remainder of the payment in about a week, once my supplier solidifies his ship date.

Update received:
He has all the parts in stock now EXCEPT for the butterfly screws. Apparently there is a shortage of these from Nissan, Japan.
He will have the screws in on 10/01/03.
He would like to receive the rest of the payment by the 15th of September, however, so he can quickly move things along when the screws arrive on the 1st.
OR, I could just have him ship them now, and forget the screws. of course, I don't know if I want to do this because I would have to find the screws here at a hardware store or something, and they would have to 100% match the ones that Nissan has. I don't want them to be even a little bit off, knowing the issues people who have bought MEVI's from others have had with the screws falling out.
So what do you all think?

Well, Ian... I'm getting a bit too ansi for my own good. I already have a
T3/T04E turbo and piping, 30"x12"x4" intercooler (etc..), 5Spd LSD I30 transmission (and accessories) to install... you get the idea.
The arrival of the MEVI is the only think keeping me from bringing the car down to my garage (250 miles away) and taking a short vacation to finish it all. Once upon a time I had hoped to finish it before all the college students came back from summer and I have to resume teaching... but too late.
I'd be all for you getting the hardware... or.... How about somone who HAS a MEVI help us out and ge the info for us so we can get it ourselves from Lowe's or Home Depot?
Anyway, don't rely solely on me. I knew we were going to have to wait... It's just gettin' to me. The excitement is going to make me pop.
We appreciate your GREAT job!!

I'd rather wait for the nissan oem screws. Ive had headaches trying to match up screws from home depot on the max this past week.... and most of these stores dont carry a wide selection of metric unit screws, just the "common sizes."

Well, there's a place called Tacoma Screw in Seattle that has all kinds of screws.
I'll try taking one there and seeing if they can match it 100%.
I will be asking for th 2nd payment very soon nonetheless.

Still waiting on payment from:
NomadMaxima
global_threat
dss42
Yutakarnb
Lost_N_a_97Max
na95gle
maxin
I've re-sent mail to each of you.
Payment is due by Sept. 20th at the latest. if you cannot pay by then, I will have to sell your spot to someone else. can't have everyone waiting on one or two people - that's not fair.

But I'm sending payment today anyway - hopefully they'll be here in 10-15 days - then I have to ship them out.
Because of the large number, I cannot do them all at once, of course, so I'll go in the order that people ordered - could take 15 days to get them all out, as I work 60hrs a week at my day job. I'm hoping to get some local friends involved in the process, however, to speed it up.

however much it costs....
They simply aren't here yet tho - they were shipped from the supplier about 4 business days ago - just waiting now.
I do have 1 extra MEVI right now with a broken bolt on the actuator itself - but I doubt you want that. Doesn't affect the function of the MEVI at all, but it is visible - not good for a show.
As for overnight - whatever it costs I would have you PayPal after I shipped it.

Things somehow got screwed up just a little bit. Sorry about the lack of updates guys.
Anyway, they are on a plane right now - I'm 100% sure of it. Apparently they got my order confused with another. They had shipped that person's order out and told me mine was shipped when it wasn't.
Anyway - I called them Wednesday and figured it out - so they went out Thursday afternoon. They should be here mid-next week.
Thanks!

They are here.
I'll be picking them up in the morining.
A little miffed however, since apparently they got here Friday and they called me just now.
I'd go pick them up now, since the Freight Carrier is open until 10:00, but Customs is closed so I can't get entry until I see them.
So here's the deal:
I'll be shipping them out in order of which people got dibs first. I can ship them faster unassembled, but I get the feeling some or most of you want me to assemble them first.
So let me know if you want yours sent faster without being assembled. Otherwise I'll assume you do want it assembled.
Since there's 16 total orders, It will take me a bit to get them all shipped out. I'll do my best around my full time job to get it done and I'll try this Saturday to get some of the NW guys to come over and help. I guess I'll bribe them with cheeseburgers.
Hopefully I'll be able to ship them all out within the next 5-6 days.

Had a work party today (thanks mrb23, maximase86, and hoodedmonkey).
All Vi's are now assembled, all Install Kits are also put together.
Now I just have to finish boxing them up and ship them out.
maximase86 is going to try and get ahold of a truck we can haul all of them to UPS in Tuesday.
