I know these shocks have a limited lifetime warranty but when the shocks do break in the future, do we contact your shop for replacements or do we have to contact KYB to get replacements? Also, do we get a reciept for this purchase because I know every warrantied part requires a purchase receipt to qualify for replacement. Please post here so everyone will know. thanks

I got my strut/shocks in finally. Do any of you know whether the front struts supposed to have the rubber boots with it. Mine didn't come with one. There was a post a month with pictures of an installation of the KYB-GR2/Maxspeed combo with pictures. Can somebody with a search capability hook a brother up with a link?

 

Probably not... You'll have to use the top mounts and bump stops off of your factory unless you order the KYB bump stops.. I was wondering if i order the KYB bump stops if they are the same size as the factory ones or are they make for lowering spring.. Does anyone know?? I'm going to call KYB and ask so i'll reply what i find out..

Hey everyone. I recieved many PayPals over the weekend, so anybody who is asking, yes we have recieved your payment. I am somewhat down and out right now with a blown head gasket in Rhode Island, so I can not personally check over how everyones parts are shiping. I can however still call and ask for reports, which are sometimes unreliable, but should not be this time. The GD is still on right now, and I am placing yet another order with KYB tomorrow to cover orders that came in after our last shiupment was taken by previous orders.

 

To honor the warranty on the GR-2's... If they break, they will be sent back to Power Performance, and we will handle getting new ones for you through KYB.

 

Who do we sent payment to? dj or power performance? Please clarify and give me the email address so i can send the money!

no, you paid 375 for KYB AGX which are adjustable. you got the better ones. havent seen you post in a while.

Well now that I think about that question, there isnt much more you can really replace in the suspension. Some of the guys over at the PPM brain shop are trying to put together a high performance front end Poly-Bushing Kit... If it gets completed, it shouldnt cost much more than $190, and all the bushings you can replace to notice a tighter front end will be included.... Keep your eyes open for these babies.

We have an overstock of GR-2 for the Gen 4, 95-99. I looked through all the orders and didn't see anybody who ordered those. Did kyb send some wrong struts or am I missing an order or two. Anybody order for the gen 4 and not recieve their struts?

 

I ordered for Gen 5, still don't have them.

OK im getting worried. I ordered mine on the 21st. I was assuming it would take two weeks, but since you guys havent recieved them yet, im getting concerned. I emailed him too, but I havent got a reply yet.

I got a reply from Nik Kanter. He says that he will be posting on here tomorrow to answer all our questions and that he's been unable to update for a couple of days. My specific question remains unanswered but I guess I'll wait until tomorrow like the rest. Just telling what I know.

 

He says mine will arrive in two weeks.

 

i got a reply from him today too... same reply as yours stlkcdc. i guess we just have to wait til he posts something to find out what is going on.

 

I live near Nik and he sent me an email today stating that the GR2s will be in later this week or early next. I plan to pick them up as soon as he contacts me to do so. By the way I first contacted Nik about two weeks ago but actually placed the order last Friday or so. I'll let you know when I get them!
