But I had the AGX's on my 97 and am considering those again for my 2k1. How do the GR2s compare to the AGXs? I know the GR2s are non-adjustable, but is that even an issue? I never adjusted my AGXs after the first week from the middle settings. Can you tell the $200 price difference between the GR2s and the AGXs quality wise?

My brother is in need of susp on his 93 GXE I was thinking of Eibachs and Tokico's but may consider this. Whats their price for the 3rd Gens? Is it an 'insert' like the Koni's or a full strut/shock?

He seems pretty reliable...I e-mailed him a couple of times regarding the group deal and other things. Responds quickly, too bad I can't be part of this deal...I have bills to pay. He says he has fabricated a RSB for the Max for about $130 w/ bushings. I might get those instead.

Sorry for not responding in so long on the forum, I kept getting "busy signals". I am able to do $260 SHIPPED since I order in a bulk, I save on the shipping costs. Some of the orders are getting confused with another GD going on with AGX's.... THis is due to the shipping and order processing Dept. I will keeo you guys updated if anything goes wrong.

Not to alarm anybody but I paypaled Power Performance Motorsports on 5/4 for the same thing or another GD and I still haven't received mine yet. They shipped mine out on 5/12 supposely. I asked for a tracking number but I haven't received one yet.

I am not saying that they may scam you but the shipping time is terrible, no tracking number, so take it for what it is.

same here. he said that mine was shipped on the 13th. but couldnt give me a tracking number. now he's saying that he is waiting for someone to return a set of GR-2's then he'll send those to me. I hope they were not used and I hope I get them soon.

i seriously do not know. i dont think they are back ordered though since they told me mine was shipped already. but now they are saying someone else has my struts. i dont know what is goin on but i just hope this is not a scam.

Mclee, I knew your struts were shipped because I saw them leave the werehouse in the KYB boxes, I did not however check to make sure they were being shipped to you, because that isn't my job. You need to understand that we do not regularly stock 15 sets of maxima struts, so we have to backorder them to send out. We backorder a number based on speculation on how many sets will be purchased.
Now, if Power Performance Motorsports rips anyone off, I will give out the wherehouse address in NJ and paypal everyone $10 to buy gasoline to burn the place down.... Please have some faith and understand that the companies we order from are not as personal as we are with customers. A company as big as KYB can tell you what they are going to do any you really cant change anything aout it.
To let you know, we are losing about $8 per sale here, but we deem it worthwhile, because it will gain trust and faith in our corperate name.

It doesnt seem so.... if you could lower the price of KYB GR-2 by $50, we'll have trust and faith in you.... ROFL

DJ Kontakt: Of course I am not going to tell you how to run your GD. But as a person who just wrapped up a GD on KYB's I know running GD can be very time consuming, frustrating and in general in a pain in the @ss. However, there are some very good sides to doing so and in order to keep things balanced.. you really have to be dedicated to the phone and computer. Post lots of information and confirm everything. From my last GD- I posted every single day and even announced when I would not be available to post. This way you can avoid a barrage of emails and paranoia. Information is key but timing is everything.
I only posted this because I am reading some people are already wondering if this is scam. This implies not enough information to make them feel comfortable.
