What trouble did she cause you and why did you have to call back so many times? The offer ended on 9/30.

Hey guys, Tech TV just did a Review on Sirus vs XM, Sirus sounds like AM radio while XM is like MP3-Cd Qualitiy. So in other words SIRUS has bad quality

Ummm that makes no sense what-so-ever to me. XM is a broadcast frequency and Sirius is a vendor that sells XM equipment. That's what I think anyway...

XM and Sirius are satellite radio competitors. Satellite is the frequency.

XM is owned by ClearChannel Communications, thus the ads even on the paid service.

Sirius is more expensive by $2 but is 100% commercial-free.

They also use different underlying technology to compress the audio. Using same equipment (e.g. speakers, wires, etc.), i prefer Sirius more.

Soundmike is right, except Sirius music is 100% commercial-free (60ch), however the news & sports stations DO have commercials (40ch). I love my Sirius... hardly ever listen to CDs anymore!

Thinking about getting it at home. There's a serious (or should I say "sirius") discount for 2-or more subscriptions.

Obviously you dont have Sirius in your car or home, because if you did you would understand how wrong you are.

Matt,

I tried to call the toll free # that you gave me when I spoke to you (the same number I called to place my order before Sept. 30) and nobody picks up. Is there anyone I can speak to, to inquire on the status of my system? They said that it would be a 4-5 week wait for the Audiovox. I am wondering what the status is and wanted to get some details on the shipping.

Thanks.

Anish

There was a delay on the Audiovox, but they should be shipping soon.

Of course there was a delay... nothing is ever on time around here.

But is that toll free # no longer good to call? I just want to get an idea of when I should be expecting it. "Soon" does not really allow me to plan my trip to go pick it up.

yOu need to contact 888-539-7474. If you dont do it before they try to bill your card, the account will be shut off and there will be a $75 fee to reinstate the account.

Usually when the oprogram is not running an answering machine should pick up. Send me an email with all of your info and I can try to see what is going on.

I would think it sux worse that your credit card was stolen and you absolutely should notify any company that you do business with on that card.

Does that mean that using an AUX adapter to connect the RCA cable from the Sirius kit to the BOSE deck is a bad idea for sound? I have the Audiovox receiver from Sirius.

Or is FM modulation the "OTHER" option where you have another little device to do the FM modulation in addition to the Audiovox receiver and the BOSE deck obviously?
