Wood/Aluminum Trim Group Purchase

The folks at Joshua Tree asked me if i knew anyone interested in getting a group purchase together for their trim kits.

I just installed their wood trim on my Maxima and loved it.
Of course, this isnt just limited to Maximas, so if youd like some for your other vehicle you can do that as well.

Details:

40% OFF with at least 12 orders.

Im just trying to see if there is any interest with this thread.

They offer Real Wood, Fake Wood, Carbon Fiber, and Molded Dash kits.

Check them out HERE

They carry nice stuff, but it is definitely marked up alot. They ran a "special" openly on their website that was for 40% off, although it just ended. See if they can do better than that...otherwise, I can get exact same brand of kits elsewhere for cheaper (even with the 40% off).

Hmm, i just orderd a few weeks ago and the discount was only 20% not 40%. You may be mistaken.

Kevlo, If you go with the 19 piece kit automatic, its approx. $160.00!

Crap, thats better than what i paid at $213.00 which is what the discounted price is right now at 20%.

I'd be interested if they have one for us Navi owners. No one seems to have a kit with Navi option. The site shows like $406 retail but sale price is $286. What price will the 40% off come from?

If the price is good enough I'd consider getting one for the wife's 2003 Expedition too.

molded dash kits are the ones that contours to the areas of the dashboard it covers. it differs from the flat kits since the flats are just stick ons. the molded wraps around the edges in one piece for a more original look.

If you can get free shipping too I might be interested in the 19 PC AUTO MOLDED/FLAT COMBINATION KIT for the 02-03 Auto. 40% off there price is $245.69 and can be gotten for $244 regular price from woodview. If free shipping is available I will more than likely do this.

hey, i was chatting with Kelly from J Tree and happen to mention the maxima.org GD...she's aware of it and they will honor with, however, the 40% off will NOT apply to molded kits. This is what she said. The best price she offered me was $233 for a 9 pc molded brush alum syn. Any thoughts?

Working on this too.

It seems strange that all other dash kits are currently at 20% off but they can offer 40% with the Group Purchase, yet the Molded Kits are already at 30% off and they cant do 10% more.

Sorry, Seems that the molded kits are at their Ultimate Low and cannot be reduced anymore. So 30% is as much as they can drop the prices on those.

So, in that case the price for the molded kits are then as listed on their website. If you speak to Kelly, she can usually offer an additional $15 off for a total of $233 shipped. If this is the case, then what are they offering on the GD?

I guess the extra $15 is something.

Id advise anyone going for the Molded Kits to ask for the $233 price then.

The GD is already an additional 20% off their sale price.

I would never buy a flat dash kit, only molded. I did some research, and here's what I found out:

www.autodash.com has the 15pc molded kit for $258 + s/h = 272.69

www.woodtrim.com (Joshua Tree) has the 19pc molded kit for $409.49 - 30% off = $286.64 and free shipping. The difference in kits is that this one adds the 4 door accent pieces.

According to Nwmaxedout, if you speak to Kelly you can get the 9pc molded kit from Joshua Tree for $233 shipped, but does that $15 off also apply to the 19pc kit?

Hey, different strokes for different folks. If the molded kit is anything like the molded kits in the Infinity's than they dont look half as good as a real wood "flat" kit.

The molded kit looks plain, no clear coat, and just fake.

For those of you interested in JT's brushed aluminum kits, quick heads up, they're not real metal.

They used to be when they bought from Spectrum, and they were when they bought them from us, but we no longer supply them with the real aluminum kits, so the only aluminum they have is the synthetic stuff. They may have some in stock, but I'm not sure of that.

Ive ordered from Joshua tree and the kit looks great but I paid to much. I also had a problem with one of the pieces and they do not replace them for free as im pretty sure the warrenty says as long as you own the car. But I found a place in Brooklyn who has much better prices. I went there and they were able to match my kit perfect and they also do custom finishes also. check them out.

www.alkaplus.com

If there is enough interest im sure they will give a discount.

www.aaaexoticwood.com

I ordered myself a real blue kevlar/black carbonfiber dash kit (24 piece kit) from AAA Exotic Wood Corp. They use 3M adhesive and 100% UV protectant polyurethane clear coat (rather than epoxy) and comes with lifetime warranty against discoloration, fading etc. Quality is similar to B&I, but pricing is much more favorable.

I'll post up pics of their dashkit installed in my Max next week.

If anyone is interested, I have an acct. with them.
Discount pricing is $160 for real wood or real cf. $150 for synthetic.
Add $10 shipping to anywhere within US.
10% off Gauge Bezel, Door Panel Kit (4 pcs), Exterior Trim (11pcs)

if you are a business looking to be a dealer, I don't see why they wouldn't send you a promo kit.

No, I have no interest in becoming a dealer. I was looking for swatches so that I could compare which type of wood would look the best in my car. It is just alot easier to compare when you have the pieces in your hand. Sorry for the confusion.
