Hey guys I'm going to close the GD tommorrow by 10:00 PM. If for some reason I am not here when you call to make payment... we are now accepting Paypal (www.paypal.com) with the email address info@maxxtuningusa.com If there is a place where you can put in a message to me... make sure you include your name, shipping, address, and telephone #. If you are on the east coast please add $10.00 and if you are on the west coast add $15.00. If you are choosing not to have them shipped and you are coming to pick them up, please include that in the message.

... oh yea... if you overpay the shipping we will refund the excess amount. I am getting married Saturday (9/20) and I'm leaving for my honeymoon Sunday. and I won't be back until the 29th (Driving to Florida) but I will still be working on this while I'm gone (bringing my laptop even though my wife will kill me for working on our honeymoon).

Basically these Maxspeed springs drop ur car just a tad. Some of my friends ask me if i'm gonna drop my car when it's already dropped. Considering that the wheel gap is so huge on 4th gen maximas (stock), when u drop it with maxspeed springs, it makes it look like stock to other cars. But if you look at it from the front, it looks kinda dropped. After you've installed them, you'll be thinking "there is no drop..this sux...wat a rip off", etc. But you gotta let it settle in and you might be happy. You gotta remember that it's a small drop. And with ride comfort, it's not bad at all. I'm running OEM shocks and at first it was bumpy but it's not terribly bumpy. After I replace the shocks, I'm pretty sure that it would almost feel like the stock suspension. Maybe if you got bigger rims with maxspeed springs, it'd look like a better drop cuz i have 15" sawblades. Handling wise, I felt a diference. It improves it a lot. I've never had any other springs so i wouldn't know how a 1.7" drop would improve your handling but after getting maxspeed springs, the steering wheel stiffened, the turns sharpened, etc. but I'm still not satisfied with the handling. The steering wheel's still flimsy and there's a lot of body roll, etc. I hope this was helpful. Bye

You can stick with the stock shock/strut for now, but if you're swapping the springs out anyway - might as well do the whole setup to save on installation costs/time.
In any case, the stock shock/strut will probably last several thousand miles depending on how rough your roads are - but swapping them out will make the ride smoother based on what i've read.

I left this group deal a week ago and got a refund after being told several times on the phone (in the course of 2 weeks) that the springs that were supposed to be in stock to begin with (check origional post) are coming in "any day now."
I don't know whats up with these guys.

Yes, I was billed, and yes I have called them and no one answers... I have disputed the charge, and have been credited back the money! Buyer-be-ware with Maxximum Tuning if they are still in business….
To clarify - I WAS billed by Maxximum Tuning (2 x's) of Union, NJ, listed as Maxx Tuning USA on this post....

"maxx tuning" (the place responsible for this group deal)
and "maximum tuning" are two different places.

If I were to get springs again, I would get Maxspeed's and the price being offered here is excellent.

You can use stock struts with the Maxspeeds but the ride will soon degrade.
It's also cheaper in the long run if you do new aftermarket struts together with the Maxspeed installation.
Another bonus is the ride will also be either,
a) lower
b) stiffer
c) more composed
d) stable
with aftermarket struts.

well, i keep calling these guys. And somebody there keeps telling me that TJ runs this group deal. And Tj is either never there or is busy. i leave my number and keep trying to call back. and he's never there and never returns my calls.
Hey, TJ if you read this. Can i get my springs? it's been over 3 months.
anyone else get theirs yet? or did you guys all get your money back?

i phoned.. and talked to tj... he said that he was waiting to get the springs from his supplier... he said it would be a couple more weeks.. so i just told him that i'd like the refund instead of waiting longer. that was after getting no answer at the place for a couple of weeks.
