New Viper 791Xv Responder GD?

Gauging interests on the newest version of the Viper Responder. The remote has changed a few options have been added and second remotes are available in a 1-way. The pricing will be the same as the past Responder (Viper 790) at $499 installed, but the first 5 people will recieve 10% off to get it out there for feedback. Post here any interests.

Re: New Viper 791Xv Responder GD?

It only comes with one remote right? How much more for an extra remote? Also what can be done for people with manuals who want the the remote start feature? Was there something done in the past where the buyer can finish the final steps for the remote start to work properly for a manual.

You would not be able to be in the group deal then. The install is here in NJ.

It does come with only one remote, and additional 2-way remote is $100, but now (unlike the 790)a 1-way remote is also available for around $50.

Yes it can work and the final step is just basically putting on a 3/8" capnut to bypass the clutch.

If it's got a turbo timer, isn't it 5sp safe then? Or does Viper still say Auto only?

well for the turbo timer to work on a manual you need to have the car in N so it can idle (cool down).

so start up procedure should be the same (car in N)...so your ride won't fly through the wall.

Don..reciept?

The range varies depending on location. Maximum is what they claim when tested in an open field. Although what is the point of having super far range when there is nothing you can do from so far away anyways?

i run fast. trust me , i rally appreciate the extended range that the compustarr gives me. i can actually turn the car on from inside the mall instead of in the parking lot about a 100ft. from the car that the current alarm in my wife's car give me, it an avital(DEI).

I have actually removed several Compustars to replace them with DEI pieces. For whatever various reasons the customers stated

It's about 2.5 hr drive from Huntington to Central NJ. Mostly due to traffic congestion along Grand Central/BQE and getting through NYC.

Weekends are no different on BQE/LIE. The only time I've driven home (from Huntington) without traffic is 2am.
