No battery yet. I dropped him an email last night and again just a few minutes ago. If I don't hear anything this evening I will call him tomorrow and let y'all know.

I called him this afternoon and he said he 'thought mine had shipped' and he 'would check and send me an email update.' So far - no word after over two hours.

I will start calling again tomorrow first thing if I do not hear anything by then. If anyone else wants me to mention their order as well, please PM me and I will make sure to mention your purchase as well.

My order is now two weeks old and I have yet to hear anything from them. I am having my attorney draft a letter to be sent out today via certified mail and am contacting American Express to reverse the payment and furthermore will be contacting the BBB in Edgar, Nebraska (this company's home town) and filing a complaint with them.

If anyone wants to add their name to this complaint, please let me know as soon as possible.

Alan

I have sent him a final request for information regarding my order. He has until the close of business on 11/19/03 to respond or I will pursue whateever means necessary to obtain a refund as well as notify the appropriate parties in their home town as to their business practices.

I really do not want to do this but the lack of communication is maddening, especially after they have received payment.

He just emailed me with the following:

"I will look up your tracking number and resend;
again;
Thank you

sales@batteriesareus.com"

We shall see.

I contacted my credit card company and they are contacting him today. I will be calling the BBB and Chamber of Commerce in Edgar, Nebraska to report this as well.

I will post in the feedback forum as well.

Well lookee, lookee. I contacted my credit card company with the complaint last week and guess what was in my email this morning - an UPS notice that they had been contacted to ship the battery. No arrival date, yet.

I will keep y'all updated.

UPS says it is now on the way. It has been over three weeks since I ordered and it probably won't be here until next week due to the holiday.

I hate lousy service. The good price just doesn't outweigh it.

Got mine yesterday too, finally. And I do agree with your comments. I have posted on the vendor and member comment boards as well. It wasn't worth all this trouble just to save a few bucks.

Thanks anyway 95seMax, i'm sure everyone who participated realizes it wasn't your fault, and I thank you still for putting it together.

i was so close to entering this group deal...but i thought "what if i were a guy selling a shi.tload of batteries...how quickly would i have shipped them out since i already had the cash"

then i decided to go down to advanced autoparts and get the red top for 100 bucks.
