Has anyone else who ordered gotten their remote start and/or alarm yet?
Internet - I've tried emailing and IMing you, but haven't gotten a responce... I still haven't gotten my alarm!

there are several that will.
They are generally called add-on units.
They work by picking up the signal from the oe remote when it triggers the lock 3 times (depends on unit)

For the remote start...has anyone tried the paging alarms, u know the ones that tell you what sensor is going off, if your within like i think a mile of your car or something....

I was thinking about getting one of those....but if they are not worth it, or dont work very well....ill probly just settle for reg alarm and remote start....

I think the paging thing was more kewl than anything usefull....

rather than remote start only, lets setup a completly security system to go with it.

remote start, glass sensor, shock sensor, keyless entry for those who dont have it and possibly motion detector.

id be in for that

I have a 95 se manual. Im interested in the remote start but...With my oe keyless entry, my windows roll down if you press and hold the unlock button. I want to be able to keep this function. Is that possible?? I have been reading this thread but what is the best remote start for a manual? Do I have to leave my car in neutral for the remote start to work??

I was looking into getting a Compustar 2WSS-AS security system with paging and all of the bells and whistles. Does anyone know if the factory keyless entry/alarm system can be bypassed or completely taken out of the picture easily?
