Only time will tell... We're getting a lot of interest in this product right now, so as long as the interest keeps up... The Deal will stay open.

KWD - At this time we are not going to offer a lightened factory pulley just because there is not a lot of interest in it to warrant the design costs... Thanks for the interest....

Well I figured if you were going to come into my GD and bash my pulley I would come here to advertise since I am beating your price. Hell, I will sell the non scratched ones for $90 shipped just to beat your prices even more, especially since Brett decided to knock off the design of my pulley with the bronze rings.

Flawless quality, these are perfect quality except for the anodizing didnt come out right, so I do not use that person to anodize my parts anymore. I do not know if any Maximas have had problems with pulleys because I do not search through the Maxima performance forums.

Worrying about the anodizing on the pulley for 20 bucks would be nothing to worry about at all due to the fact it wont affect anything and the pulley can not be seen to visibily from the engine bay. You do get what you pay for, however you guys sell your pulleys for $100 and I sell mine for $140, so buying your cheaper pulley would be a mistake then because you are simply saying the customer would be recieving an inferior product, however, I'll keep my more expensive prices lower for the group buy so customers can choose what they want.

Thanks for reading,
Nick

I saw the motorstorm on ebay and the description said it fit the 2004 maxima. Has it been tested? I want either of these pulleys and if its the same as the UR pulley for the alt. or 02 maximas then it should work on mine. If either of you could provide some helpful info I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Our Pulley has not been tested on the 04 maxima....... However there is a lot of speculation that it will work.... If you choose to order our pulley and try it and it doet not fit then you return the pulley to us and we will refund your money in full assuming the product was not damaged.

Well could you elaborate on the speculation?? Its not that I dont want it, I just dont wanna purchase a part that is going to damage my car if it isnt made to fit. Also I dunno if its any of my business, but I wouldnt list a product for a specific vehicle unless some R&D was done first. Hopefully you can prove me otherwise though.

Talk to any metal specialist or machinist and he will tell you what metals are best for wear. Putting bronze on the back side wasn't some major trade secret of yours. There is actually a long list of metals that can be used but I chose your bronze just for the simple fact that I had to go through the whole process of installing your pulley and it wouldn't even fit on. Sad Sad! The last time I checked, I purchased your pulley to put on my maxima but you were off by 4 thousandths (4 thousandths too small/tight!). That is the thickness of a piece of paper. My pulley fits right on the crank snout. Your instructions stated "in a rare case you might need to sand the crank snout a little." Why should someone have to sand their crank??? The last time I checked Nissan didn't have those kind of tolerances when they made these vehicles. If I was going to copy your pulley then I'd make it look like yours. I know what it costs to make these pulleys and $140 doesn't say that your quality is any better. It just shows that you have more overhead and greed floating around. You can change yours to whatever you want. Heck, you already made your $ selling them for $140. And where did you get your design? Unorthodox?

Right, so if they are....how would putting a new UDP affect the engine longterm? I heard it messes them up after some years.

All instructions to install item are included, its pretty straight forward if your comfortable in the engine area.

The UDP does not actually produce more horsepower. It frees up hoursepower that the engine used to spin the stock pulley. Since the UDP is lighter and underdriven it does not require as much energy to spin, thus allowing more power to the wheels.

As far as the ferrous ring, I believe we switchted from the ferrous material to another material. That would explain the difference in photographs. It was simply a cosmetic thing as far as I understand.
