GD: DMS VQ Crank Pulley With Belts $80
#82
Call up a local shop and find out. I've seen price from free by a buddy up to $150...shop around, I suggest using a trusted mechanic that will do it right. Also dont forget to change the crankshaft seal from http://nissanpartswholesale.com they have great prices.

The guy who work on my car did have one issue putting it on. The problem was that the pulley was too tight, but with alittle sanding it went right on.!!!!!
The power is crazy, now the car rev's like a honda vtec engine in any gear, you will see the power.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also there was no problem with the sound system, and to me that a A+++

i was told that you can have a 1500 watt sytem and have no problem, as long as u have a 1 farad cap, but thats like the border. If you have an optima battery then ure set, and also the 4th generation alternator is pretty strong, its up to you, I want to get one, I'm emailing you now JBL85

Speaking from a long time DMS pulley user (over a year now), here's the deal:
It's $80 for the scratched pulley with no belts including shipping.
It's $90 for the unscratched pulley with no belts including shipping.
It's $120 for the scratched pulley with belts including shipping.
It's $130 for the unscratched pulley with belts including shipping.
Seeing how it is that I paid $120 with no belts including shipping, I'd say that this is a great GD.
The crankshaft seal should be less than $10 at your local Nissan dealer, and should be changed when you install the pulley. Do NOT skip this step unless your car is fairly new (less than 1 year old).
As for performance, I run the following in my car on my DMS pulley:
1) RF 700w RMS 2-channel amp
2) RF 250w RMS 4-channel amp
3) RF 1 Farad Cap
4) Kenwood HU
5) Kenwood Graphic EQ
6) Kenwood Sirius Satellite Radio
7) Fog light re-wire
8) Corner light re-wire
9) Reverse indiglo gauges
10) Umnitza DDE Angel Eyes
11) Greddy E-Manage
12) Valentine-1 Radar Detector with Concealed Display
13) The A/C at 70-75 degrees
...and I have had no problems with the pulley (electrical or mechanical). And I didn't even replace my crankshaft seal either (because it was less than a year old at the time).
Installation instructions for the VQ35 are on my web-site. The same instructions can be used for the VQ30, just note that the pictures and steps may be slightly different.
JBL85: Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comment, I'am always willing to share my 2 cents.!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway the pulley is not the same size as the stock, it real small and light, and remember the stock weight a ton also.!!!!!!!!!
PS For the $80 paid you got about 7-13hp(depending on mods) and also quicker reving, that priceless, EVEN WITH A AUTO.!!!!!!!!

Nick, my pulley arrived Monday and it is beautiful, only scratch I could find was on the back side of the pulley. Hopefully, I'll install it sometime next week. Thank you for the great GD, and service to match.

hope this is easy to install....don't wanna screw something this important on our engines up.....i don't have a torque wrench, just tons of other craftsmen tools....hope i will be able to do this without torque wrench....is it absolutely important that everything is torque to perfect spec?

These will be slightly larger, but will work and not cause any problems if you can't find the others

Is this GD still going? I have a question??
I have a huge sound system (2 JBL 1200.1 amps, and a JL audio 300.4, Yellow top, and a capacitor) Will i still be able to get the performance out of my system as opposed to stock???

OHMS Law formula to find Amperage = Watts/Volts
*JBL 1200.1= 1300 Watts @ full power* (2 amps running)
1300 (watts) / 12 (Volts) = 108 Amps
Known Facts: The 1200.1 Will pull between 100-120 Amps @ Super Peak Output.
*JL Audio 300.4 = Put outs 300 watts for sure, rumored to be arround 400* (1 Amp running)
400 (Watts)/12 (Volts)= 33.3 Amps

It is estimated that I am prbly running about 230 Amps just from my audio system. I wish I could compromise with these pulleys.... I'd sure like to have more HP. But like they say, "You cant have it all".
