Warpspeed Y-Pipe $160 SHIPPED!!

ok, I know not many people are reading this tread anymore, but I felt like saying this, so no one is fooled by mechanics.
I wanted to install my y-pipe really fast, so I went to a bunch of different mechanics, to see how much it would cost, to be done. (a quote)
well all of them said it will take about 1 hour, maybe 1 1/2. that would be $60- to $100 dollars. Now the rip off part, They all said that since I didn't have the bolts or studs, that if any of my old ones break it, they would cost $20 to replace them. I call nissan and they told me that for every set of new ones it cost them $8.50
Damn mechanics, charging me $12 dollars more for every new set (if I was to buy 6 new sets, it would cost $72 dollars more.
just tought I should let you guys know.

I can't believe some of the posts that I've read on this thread. I know that some of us are excited and that excitement is fueling our anxiety, but we all really need to chill. Budha and Warspeed thank for the colabo on this GD. I was forced to be anxious because my unit is leaving MD in about a month and I really wanted to get this in before we left. If not for that, I would have been patient and enjoyed the idea that we saved about $60 on this GD an waited for the pipe to arrive whenever it would. If WS had a reputation for being unreliable then we would have a casue to be worried - in fact we would have never taken the risk to participate in this GD. So give them a chance guys.

I just checked my credit card balance online and noticed that my TOTAL AVAILABLE CREDIT has gone down by exactly $160 since THIS morning. you know what that means? it means that warpspeed just ringed me up and mine is on the way
now i gotta wait for their email with track#
for those who paid with CC. you could possibly check the status of ur y pipe this way too.
Hint: it might not show under your STATEMNT as of yet, but keep an eye on ur TOTAL AVAILABLE CREDIT

anybody have any problems with their install? I've had mine on now for about 2 weeks. I like it but I seem to hear a sound like a rattle(not the bees in the can sound) usually in 1st and second gear. I think the gaskets are not properly sealed. I may have to check it out this weekend. Anyone else notice this on their y-pipe?

There are 7 or 8 pipes which have not shipped as of last night. I think 4 of the 1995-2000 FED and 2 of those will ship today, the rest are all 1999.5-2001 models, we have 2 1995-1999 orders with complete systems or catbacks which will ship Monday. The remainder of the 1999.5-2001 should ship Monday as well. A few pieces of mandrel bent tubing we had in stock were stainless not aluminized so we are picking up more on Monday. I'll call each of the people we owe a pipe to or Lynne will. We may have one or two people we still need to get credit card info from. One person in Florida gave us a PO box which we cannot ship to via FedEx and we have emailed him but not heard back.
It may take a day or so for activity to show on your credit card.

I did it this morning but to no avail. The sounds seems to be coming from directly in front of the firewall. Sunday I plan on removing the y-pipe and check to make sure everything is in place. Any other suggetsions would be great

i went fishing Friday night, got home saturday at 7am, well anyhow i wake up around 3pm saturday afternoon and my dad is like "what did you buy this time to put on the max it came in but i sent it back you dont need to be spending money on usless things" so here i am thinking of a way i could get them to ship it back to me or a way i could probably pick it up, then after about 3 hours of me mopping around the house, my dad pulls the y-pipe from the back of his pathfinder and tells me he was only playing with me and if this messes up my max dont ask him for any money to fix it.... so hopfuly ill put it on this coming weekend...
