Ok let me get to this thread now, is there any dynos comparing an AFTERMARKET y-pipe vs. AFTERMARKET y-pipe AND HEADERS? I'm interested, but in all of these posts my voice is not being heard, along with at least 10 other people.

Depending on the mods you already have, you would expect the headers alone to add 5-10 WHP.

IS NO ONE LISTINING?!!! you are selling a product you should show all of its capabilites!!!!! as a person putting out a product you should be willing to do this. not make someone else buy your product and have them test it out for you. you have yet to do what alot of people have asked. your gonna be hard pressed to sell these headers without proof of their worth. you can put glitter on a pile of s#it but all you have is a shiny piece of s#it!!

I got so much heat... for what? no one said thanks for spending so much time and money to R&D this product... I do not know how the pricer Cattman headers would be treated?

BTW, I am fed up with you doubters! If you do not have anything positive to say... Just STFU!

Obviously you didn't spend enough time researching this idea. All you had to do was come on here and ASK what we thought about headers and we would have told you not to waste your time and that you'd probably have better luck designing a tuned y pipe.

Don't get mad at us for you not taking the time to ask the Maxima community if we'd even be interested in them. You're gettin all ****ed off about something we all already knew the answer too.

Little do you know, I'm on the Acura forums as well and when I told all my Acura friends about this incident they asked if I would recommend you. I told them it wasn't a matter of the person selling them or the company designing them, it was the fact that this product has been tried long before and didn't prove any gains then and even before MrEous had a chance to try them I knew they wouldn't make a difference. My point is that I wouldn't go firing off at people when a lot of us come from different backgrounds and might have a lot of clout on other boards

if you had listened in the beginnning you would have seen that we didnt want dyns of the y and shorties, the shorties alone was what we were all interested in, why is that so hard to understand?

Let me tell you one more time, We DID do before and after dyno for the "shorties" alone. However, the owner of the independent maxima owner just did not show up with the dyno graphs!..

Should I pay more money now to get it done another time!!!

No. You should contact the dyno shop and get the record yourself. They DO have them stored. So to me, that's not really a valid excuse.

Uh oh here we go again............I dont have anything against you nashua and if your product provides some gains with just adding shortie headers awesome. BUt be business like and before say stfu to the community who is looking to buy your product spend a little time researching and doing as jeff said above.
Your going to get grief about this until you do it, because no one wants to throw 300 bucks down the drain.........
Suck it up do the work and post back when you have the results.......I'm still interested in buying them myself.
You dont need to shoot down the community with which your trying to get buyers.

You didn't research ****. I saw these on ebay almost 2 years ago. They looked like **** then and they still do now. If you didn't see these while you were doing "R&D" then you just wasted your damn time.

Common business sense would show that spending MAYBE an extra $50 on R&D to have another max dyno just the shorty headers would be a sound investment you'd think. Of course, it might also prove that the shorty headers only give 1 or 2 hp which wouldn't make them a very attractive buy.
