I'm still waiting on shipping quotes from DHL.

As for problems with the manufacturer, I'm still working on it however, I was doubtful that there were actually at least 20 people willing to send in deposits, so I just wanted to see who was actually willing to send a deposit (if I get everything at aforementioned prices)

 

i'm still willing...but i'm 5th gen...can the manufacturer throw a 5th gen hood in with the other 19 4th genners? why is no one biting on this?

 

I am interested, with money in hand, but I am not going to send my deposit in until we know what shipping is going to be for sure. I am assuming alot of people are in the same boat as me.

 

That's exactly what I am looking for. I also can not provide a good shipping quote without knowing if I can get at least 20 people because they give better rates on quantity, I will get a better rate on shipping 20 hoods rather than 5 hoods.

So please, post up if you have money ready to send if the price is as stated above.

No, i'm trying for just hoods. That was just a miscommunication on their assistant's part.

 

Only 5 more people have responded saying their still interested, like I thought, I'm nowhere near the 20 people needed. Unless more people are willing to step up, this probably won't happen.

As for shipping, I have not received the rates as I was told I would from DHL but, I will now say $400 shipped.
I will get shipping within $100 one way or another. (or lose money)

i know there are a few people that sent out the $ including me...just send out the deposit and maxmojo will let us know if there are any problems he will send our money back,he is good for it, the faster we send the deposits, the faster we get our hoods

it would be better to send money orders. If you send money orders it gets to him in about 2-3 days max.

Three of the payments I received already are from three of the people here.. so according to the newest count, I would only have a total of about 9 people ?

 

I mailed my deposit of $150 in already a couple weeks ago. Everyone should just mail a personal check in to Maxmojo. Money in your hand is not a committment. Money in Maxmojo's hand IS!!! If the deal falls through for any reason, he can just rip up the checks. The longer this drags on, the less likely it will happen. MaxMojo, you should just set a deadline for the deposit. If you don't get all 10 at the deadline, just call it off. So everyone can move on with our lives. I can then buy the hood from someone else.

Delay is on the others as much as it is on my part. I have my hands tied if I don't get at least 20 people. Doesn't look like I can even get half that. I will keep working on this for another week, if no others are ready to pay, then I will have to say it can not happen. I will be sending those payments that I received back.
