i dont think the details of this thing is very clear on price and shipping, cause if its 419 paypal + shipping, thats a normal hood cost.

For those that think $400 by Tuesday is too soon, I am willing to do $150 deposit and balance due close to arrival to try to get this GD to happen. Only condition is, if you do not pay balance close to when it arrives, you will have to pay extra for storage if I have to hold onto it for your or risk losing your deposit. If anyone wants to do it this way, follow the same directions as previously stated.

I don't think you'll be able to see my hood as I have not yet installed it and its sitting in my warehouse. I do not have a store for you to visit, as everything is online based for me.
Best I can do was the pictures that I took of the hood.

How come, if u have pictures of it installed on your car then it should be on your car and not in the warehouse unless thats not your car in the picture or you took it of for whatever reason which wouldnt make sense. How do i know this is a good quality hood, is there any warranty against workmanship, fitment, color fading. How do i know this is scratch resistant or wont turn yellow in 3 months from the sun.

If it doesn't go through, I will refund money through paypal (denying payment) and it should not charge you any fees. (Please double check that yourself through paypal)) Anything mailed to me will be mailed back.

As for the pictures, the pictures I provided were not installed on my car, they were taken in the warehouse. The manufacturer warranties against color fading and guarantees OEM fitment. As for quality of the hood, I showed how the hood looks, commenting on it not having a rolled edge, etc. I'm offering a cheap means of getting a CF hood, I am no carrying this item, just offering my connection with the manufacturer.

News flash!!! All the 4th gen CF hoods come from the same factory in China. Where do you think all the local stores or online stores get their 4th gen CF hoods from?? If it's not made in the US by Fiber Image, it's coming from the same factory in China. We don't have the luxury of 10 different molds to choose from. If you want CF hood, this is it.

Ok, I have 2 complete payments, 1 deposit, 1 confirmed local sale, 2 paypal payments and 1 more that have mailed them out.

That's 7 people. Looking very bleak at this time. I have to contact them today, cut off to confirm will be 5pm EST.

That's 5 4th gens and 2 5th gens.. disappointing.

Also, I have to say, I believe what 1MAX2NV said is very true.

Do not let lack of interest deter you from confirming at this point. I will try to make this go through still. Can not guarantee it but the more that I have to work with the better. This may be the only opportunity I have to do this because already they wanted a container full of hoods, I have gotten around it for this one deal but will be difiicult to do so later on.

I realize this is rushed and some people don't have that much money right now, which is why I am taking deposits too, at some risk to myself. So those who want hoods, come up with $150 now and the rest in about a month.. That's not that bad.

Those who have paid or confirmed:
1. maxfanfromohio
2. 1max2nv
3. maximum96
4. takentomax
5. djfrestyl
6. max_rpm_nyc
7. chicagomax98

All carbon fiber hoods should be held down by hood pins. However, there are some less ricey styles out there.

It comes with a latch similar to the OEM hood. But keep in mind with OEM hood, the metal latch is welded on metal hood. With CF hood, the metal latch is molded ontop the fiberglass. Non similar meterials have a hard time staying together. Bottom line, with any CF hood you should use hood pins.

Thanks for answering his question, 1MAX2NV.. I know you're eager to get your hood.

This is still open, I'm doing my best to try to get you guys the hoods with less than 20, at the same price. Its very difficult to say the least. The more people that confirm their orders, the more I can bargain with.

Extended til tomorrow...

Not to mention you need to paint the kit. With CF hood, you can roll with it the same day
