Also you will have to cut for the winshield nozzles. Excellent quality. Hey MAX420, did u make a rectangle hole to put the windshield nozzles in??how??
Edit: Also, if u want to use the heat absorber thing (underneath the hood), u will have to drill the holes.

What's the guide that you shaved down? Is it on the hood part? or is it at the latching assembly? Is it the same part Maximum96 shaved? Someone please take a picture

check out my www! i just put pics up on page 2, i show where i shaved by the hood latch,
Question: The skeleton is not glued onto the Hood, at high speeds it shakes alot, i think it should be gleus onto the hood like the factory hood, because the CF if very flexible, i also have the pic of the skeleton.

Are you talking about the silver part? Where is bolted to the CF hood?

The problem is the latch that actually locks down on the hood itself, isnt long enough. Whats happening is the guides on the latch part on the car, is hitting on the top part of the latch on the hood... if that makes any sense. What you need to do is shave off about 1/4 of an inch off the latch on the car. It looks like a small flap on the very tip of it.
Close your hood and watch it as it comes down. The small flaps are hitting the top of the latch on the hood.

Got the hood today and installing it. Just a question for the people that have the cf hood installed already or people that recieved them, is it necessary to have the insulation cover on the bottom of the hood?

No need to shave anything on your latch, you just need to readjust your factory latch upwards so the hood will close properly. That was always the case with most of the CF hoods that me and my friends has installed lately.

Do any of you have any fittment problems getting all four screws into the hood? If so, how did you solve it?
yes it was a tight fit for all four screws but it can be done, try putting one side then another dont screw it all the way in till u have all 4 screws in the hood, do it slowly, u dont want 2 strip anything
EDIT: if u have help it is 10x easier

WHY ME??? ARRRGGHHHH....Tonight I opened up the package and I was ready to install this bad boy with the help of Jason (Cutlr7). One corner of the hood was bent. It looks like someone dropped it. Anyway, I emailed Harry and hopefully I can get this resolved ASAP. Now my stock hood is off and I need to get the car ready for SEMA IAS by next week.

My replacement hood arrived and it's perfect. I want to thank Maxmojo (Harry) for great customer service. He returned my email the same day and promptly resolved the situation within two days.
Thank you. I am very happy that it worked out for you. Unfortunately it did not work out so well for Angelr34. But on the plus side, he will make some money out of it as the hood was insured for more than he paid for it. I am trying to figure out what is going to happen to your damaged hood. If you don't mind, please hold onto it for the time being.
