No deadline. Just till we get 10 people unless there's a huge amount of interest and we can get 25+ quickly. But for now lets shoot for 10... so tell all your friends, this product isn't just for maximas.

Nine-7gxe I plan to use about 15 - 20 in each door. Gotta take into account that there's three surfaces to the door that you need to cover.

STFU-80 is their top of the line product also expensive. So I plan to use 20 sq ft. of damplifier and the 16 sq ft of STFU-80. One layer of each, and then some foam. So that's $89.99 right there minus the foam.

There are just as many people on the caraudio forums that have used only damplifier and have gotton optimal results.

Both are good products, but if you want the best for your car I'd go with stfu80.

40 - doors
50 - trunk
100 - floor and roof

XoptOn - you have to take off your doors and trim to apply this application. It's not very complicated though, as long as you know how to remove your door panel and floor panels.

Once we get 10 people I will compile a list of each of your names along with the product and quantity that you want, and then I will forward that list to my contact at second skin. After that it is up to you to email or call Anthony and place your order. He will then cross you off the list. And when all 10 people have called in and placed their orders he will send out the indiv. orders. I believe he accepts all three forms of payment mentioned but i will double check.

we need four more people. Tell your friends, or if you're on another forum and you see someone in need email them and tell them to feel free to join our group deal.

4 more!

yeah, basically one layer for most of the trunk. in some places in the wheel well and trunk floor it overlapped some so its double layered. 50 sq ft will do the trunk pretty well though. i'll probably be using a total of 60-65 sq ft for the trunk once i am done.

Cool J, i had 2 Quick questions for you
1. I assume you used damplifier b/c you said you had 50ft of it. Did you have trunk rattle, and did it fix it?
2.I noticed you put some up under where the rear speakers mount. I am not familiar with Maximas(i have an acura) Is it a solid piece of metal up under there? because my car there isn't a whole lot of metal there to mount it to but it rattles bad.

Sorry for the questions but i came across this while searching google for stfu-80 (cause my trunk rattles like a *****)

1. yeah, i used damplifier since that much stfu 80 is way beyond my budget. damplifier is great stuff backed by a great guy. i havnt put my sub in yet so i can't tell you if it stopped rattling. i plan to put a infinity perfect 12" sub in the spare tire wheel well so we'll see if there is any rattles when it is done.

2. yeah, its pretty much solid metal up there but there are all kinds of indentations. so you make sure you heat it up nicely so it sticks well. you might want to lift up the rear deck in the cabin of the car and put soune dampening i nthere too. i know for the maxima you can put more sound dampening underneath there, but i didnt.

if you have any other questions let me know.

Current Updated List is as follows

1.)Me
2.)NBturboS - STFU80
3.)D1NOnly34 - Damplifier
4.)Twllin - Damplifier
5.)Iron_Curtain - Damplifier/20sq ft.
6.)livin loud
7.)SejinV - Damplifier/70sq ft.
8.)OKANG - Damplifier/50sq ft.
9.)Monk - STFU80/Damplifier
10.)

one more people. I know you guys have friends with systems that need this stuff. Spring is just around the corner. What great timing for a spring project. And then you can go cruising and not be embarrassed about your vibrating buzzing trunk.

BTW... guys start pming me with your exact order and your contact information. I'm compiling a list as we speak. For some of you I have your email addresses already if you posted them in the original thread. You will be giving your shipping/billing information to Anthony when you call to place the order. He will have the list that I forwarded to him as a reference.

If the above statement was confusing in anyway please email me or PM.

Put me down for 100 sq ft. of Damplifier. Could you see if he would give 50% off on their Vinyl Liner also.

Thanks,

I dont know how the hell some of you are using just one layer
I have upto 5 layer at some points on my trunk lid, but most of it has atleast 2-3 layer. Then again I need it...actually I may need to apply more.
SS is a damn good product, works great cant go wrong with it, thats for damn sure.
