I just got off the phone with Simon @ Turbo Evolution Inc. and he can get us the VIS CF Hoods for $525 shipped. So I asked if we can do a group deal and he said yes.

If we can get 5 or more interested he can bring down the price. Lets get a list started.

Yes these are roled edges and they also have a Grade AA which has carbon on skeleton of the hood.

just want to let all know, i got one of VIS racing CF hoods on my(soon to be handed down) 2003 lexus is 300. i have the invader style, and its got rolled edges, and i've gotta say its A++ quality and looks really good. try and speed things up for ya.

anyone my question, will they make the invadr style hood for the 4th gen maxima? i'd be down.

damn, they really need to get a new style CF hood for 4th gen. people would be all over it. and alot of 4th gen OEm style used hoods would also go on sale its a money maker, just whos gunna make it 1st?

No, its called an oem hood because its identical to the oem hoods but made of carbon fibre. The inside shell is made of fibreglass. I have one, havent installed it yet, but it seems to be very good quality.

 

why so much them when there is another group deal on carbon fiber hoods?

 

the other carbon fiber hoods do not have roled edges, hens after time the edges will begin to peal off, whereas roles edges this will not happen. I have seen the difference and I would pay the extra for the roled edges.

no they do not make them for the 4th gen

 

i'd be interested. i need to know how much the final price will be after everyone is in though.

 

5th gens please check new GD it's better than this one. Remember these are for 5th Gen.
