REAL HID conversion kit.

Anyone interested in an HID conversion kit for less than 300 bux? The kit
would include the balast, wireing, bulbs, etc. For "Off Road use ONLY"
They are available in the following color temperatures, the higher temps
start costing more money:
5,300K white whith a little yellow tint for visibity
6,000K white with a blue/purple tint
8,000K white/blue
10,000K dark deep blue(purplish) special order.

They make the following bulb types:
H1
H3
H4 (dual beam higher cost)
H7
H11
9003
9004
9005
9006
9007
D2S

Right now, if I only sell one or two, the prices are as follows:

Super HIDS 5,300K Kit $295.00

Super HIDS 6,000K Kit $310.00

Super HIDS 8,000K Kit $325.00

Super HIDS 10,000K KIT $345.00

The prices dont include S/H, but they are GREAT prices as far
as I can tell ya

Some more INFO:
High Kelvin Color Temperature Bulbs by Super HID Systems:

The specially formulated 6,000k bulb will provide a nice bluer output than
the lower Kelvin 5,300k bulb. However, the 6,000K bulb is rated at outputting
approx 20% less light output than our popular 5,300k bulb.

There are several beneficial uses to using a higher Kelvin rated bulb:

When installing a 5,300k Super HIDs Conversion kit in to a halogen based
headlight the light output will primarily be bright white. The color output
will not be the same as those of OEM HIDS given that the optics of the
headlights
are specifically designed for your OEM halogen housing. While the light
output will be significantly increased over halogen systems many people
still want the appeal or a nice appealing color of the OEM HID. As a result,
the 6,000k HID conversion kit can be ordered as this kit which will offer
a nice bright white output with a bluish/purplish tinge while yielding a
minimal amount of lost light output. Please remember when deciding on a
temperature rating as you increase the Kelvin charge the color looses more
lumens (lm), useable light, and the outputted color turns more in to a
purplish/white
hue.

I will hold this group buy for about 2 weeks, you must email sales@db-performance-eng.com for payment info Please use the subject line HID kit. Accepting cashiers checks, money orders, paypal with 3%fee and cash in hand if you are in the Detroit area.

It doesn't cost any more to make capsules in higher Kelvin ratings so why charge more for them? I'd be down for a H3 and H4 dual beam kit if the price was the same for all kelvin ratings. Could we be closer to $300 shipped if we had more buyers?

The kits are made by Mculloch using the Bosch proprietary balast unit.

I couldnt tell you why they cost more, but they do :-( it may have to do with the whole supply and demand theory.

I have only 1 person who has emailed me to confirm they want IN on the group buy, the rest of the people have just been asking questions or saying they want them, but none have actualy emailed me to confirm they are IN. IF we get enough, I am sure I could get it for those prices shipped.

Bulbs normaly go for 175-200 bux for a pair, not sure if we can get a lower price with the group order of kits, but they only sell them in pairs.

Raf,

I asked them what their warantee was, it is only 1 year on the balast, and 3 months on the bulbs, but he has never heard of an HID kit with 3 or 5 year warantee. What brand, and how much did you spend on them?

Where would you go to honor the warantee if the web site is down? I am quite curios to see who has such an extream warantee on lighting, I know the bulbs dont have a 3 year on them, that would just be incredible, I think 90 days is pretty impressive.

Brandon, if you are able to do this deal for less than 300 bux, let us all know, I would just go through you instead. I have yet to find a price this low, and the ones on the site you list have a lowest price of 80 bux more than the prices I have found.

Yeah they come with a warranty, which is probably something most cant offer. I really dont mean to be stealing this guys thread. As far as getting them down to 300, i doubt it, maybe if we do a group deal he will be willing to drop the price right now, but as of now he said that all the 5,6,7k have one set price, and 12k have another. I get replacement parts through him also. Pm me if your interested.

thanks
Brandon

Just to let everyone know Mculloch has a very high failure rate. Their is a reason why their kits are so cheap and if you check they are all over ebay and many other forums. If you are looking to buy a hid kit atleast then atleast make sure its a 1year warranty on ballasts and bulbs. Just trying to lookout for those who are not educated on these things hope this helps.
