G/D LED tail lights for 4th Gen

I dont know why they didnt think of us 95/96 models when making the Gen 2 LED atlezzas. I really like the CF or black ones, they match the spoiler LEDs nice and give it a real good look. If anyone knows how we can get in contact with the place that makes those id be much more intersted than shelling out $100 more for some used played out DAVID Ls. I personally prefer making another design if you guys what to set us apart for the 97-99 ones. Hope we can get this crackin, otherwise im gonna have to design it and build myself a set of LED taillights like no other.

I dont know if any of you knew this, a 95/96 tail has clear under the orange/red piece. So techinally speaking, if u get a clear cover to replace this piece from a plastic/glass factory, you can have you own all clear and paint the bottom red if u wish.

What are you talking about?
a) 95/96 lights cannot be made all clears
b) people already started making LED lights by themselves
c) trying to get gen 2's for 95/96 has been attempted many many times

Sorry, hate to ruin your day

a) yes they can, some just has to design the template and have a factory produce them, its not that difficult, the only thing is they wont be red/clears, they will be all clear so u will have to paint them.
b) Any progress on that? Pics from 95/96 models with LEDs, please support your statement!
c) then why hasnt it been accomplished, theres not much difference between the 97/99 and the 95/96 if you are changing to an entirely new housing. If someone tells me who makes the 97/99 and i can get the contact info, i doubt it will be a problem to produce 95/96 if theres enough interests.

You didnt ruin my day, i posted this thread to get information. Even though some of your claims have nothing to support them, thats exactly what u did, post information. Which ultimately defines the whole purpose of this website and the WWW.

Want information, your welcome!

Noone will start producing any lights untill the demand for them is big anough to cover fixed, R&D and other incurred costs plus have some acceptable income. Even if 100 Orgers will post they would definitely buy Gen2s for 95-96, that is far not enough considering the population out there...

One orger did post already 95-96 LEDs tails in stock housing, look at 4th gen forum, ...I should be done with mine in a week or so.

Want unique Gen2 LED tails for 95/96 - do them yourself, what's holding you back.... GL

Well considering there are a few thousand 97/99 maximas out there and they made three styles for them. How many do u think actually bought them, a couple of hundred at most, cause 99% of the maximas i see have something other than gen2 tails. You came on here with all ur accounting lingo but you have no point to what your saying. As a matter of fact, there are far more 95/96 maxima registered on the road than 97/99 and we cant do the clear/red mod so the demand will be much bigger for that.

If you can post what orger did it, id love to see if but for me to spend my time searching for it is useless. If i had that much time id make them myself. Oh and i hope you're not talking about the guy from westchester with a grey maxima, his is a 97/99.

As i said originally, if i dont come to any conclusion from this post, when skewl is over in may i will make my own. Time is the only thing holding me back because unlike some i got things to see and people to do.

You are one interesting yet stubborn dude ...

If you think you are so right in your reasoning then go find manufacturer and vote with your dollar that you want lights made for your car...

That's the reason why they quit making them in those volumes, demand is too poor for Maximas (not for Hondas). See how easy is to find 1st Gen for any year and how difficult to find and 2nd Gen Altezzas at what prices..

<~too poor to donate, therefore not privledged on the "search" feature of the site. I give the dude props on the work, but they dont really look as good as i was thinking. I was thinking something brighter, maybe its just the pics and they look better in person. Im sure someone will have them at tobay, hopefully i wont have too many people to do that day and will make it.

They are way brighter, pictures are just too dim. Unfortunately I won't be ready with mine for a Tobay, I miscalculated amount of LEDs I need and ran out of them when making last quarter. But I am gonna bring what I have so far just to show if someone is interested and is curious to see their assembly...

There will be Araffio with 97-99 LED tails on a car.
