just happened to have the car up on the lift checking the condition of the studs & nuts, when whatta ya know, it's the Fedex man pullin up with my pipe at 4:30 or so. studs no problem, unhookin o2 sensor wires where snap in holders were place , just alittle tedius, but not real problem. rolled out for test run at 5:45, sweeeeetttt. nice low growl not loud at all, in fact I had to listen carefully. let's see where'd put that list of ........

i got a paypal email when i paid and that was all, no tracking #, no email from ws, pipe just showed. i say its coming don't worry!!! trust this one!!!!! check your studs & nuts, be ready. have finished your other mods? now where'd i put that list.....

 

I got mine installed today... along with chopping off the resonator and doing a few other things. Mine is friggin loud (which is probably more of the resonator mod's fault).

Here's my review for my 3rd Gen Auto... low-end rpms, don't really notice much of a difference, but I did notice the lag which used to be there when I punched the gas isn't as noticable anymore. Higher end RPMs, definitely noticable in the power gain, but obviously not significant. Don't really notice much difference in Torque (well, MAYBE very slight loss in low end, but I wouldn't even consider it noticable). Some people have said that there was a noticable loss in low end rpm torque and gain in high end rpm torque, maybe if I had a CAI or something, I would notice, but with only an aftermarket muffer and straight pipe through the resonator, I didn't notice the torque change.

That's my 2 cents.

And to everyone else still waiting, don't worry, I'm pretty sure everyone's gonna get theirs. As long as you paid, they're not gonna rip you off. They'll work it all out with all of ya. I would give them at most 2 and a half weeks from the time you paid based on the first Y-Pipe group deal from last month. If you haven't received it by then, call and check. REMEMBER, #8 was "having some patience".

man, i'm am so anxious to get the y-pipe that I even had a dream about it coming in but it was a huge disappointment in the dream! The flex section was just twisted aluminum foil and it was shorter than usual. It came in roller-blade box that was poorly wrapped. When i picked up the pipe, the aluminum fell off! My girl-friend was in the dream and she said I got ripped off and I felt kinda of sad about the whole thing and that I paid 160 for a piece of metal with aluminum foil wrapped around it. weird dream huh? Well, now that I'm awake, I hope the pipe comes in today!

I sent my money order out last wednesday, not sure how long it's suppose to take, but haven't gotten an email either. Vlad paid with paypal on friday, which of course is a faster payment, but arrived 3 days later, and i'm pretty sure it shouldn't take a week to mail my money order. If you can somehow find out if they recieved my payment, that would be great.

Well I paid with Paypal on Thursday moring (4/9/04) at 10:00am which posted to my account the following day. It has been nine days and of those nine days, 6 of them have been full business days.

I have not gotten a phone call, and email, or anything. I called WSP on Friday and they asked for my name and phone #. They told me they'd call me back later on when Dallas got in to update me. NEVER CALLED. WSP is located in Arkansas and I'm in Florida. Not too far geographically.... Vlad paid Friday (one day later than I didi) got his shipped on Monday and recieved it Thursday,... and hes in Connectiicut!!!! I was told this was a "first pay/first ship" operation, and to see that Vlad is farther away geographically and paid a day later than me and I still have NOTHING so far PlSSES ME OFF.

I can easily say that so far, I am not happy with this deal. If you look in the thread I was the 13th post and my name is #6 on the final list.

 

When I ordered my pipe on Fri.(16th), I was told that Dallas would be sending out most of the Group Deals this week. Also, u got to remember that there's like a hundred of us in on this. Alot of people are also ordering Cat's and B-pipes with there Y's too. That's got to take up even more time!

 

I understand your frustration, but please understand them too. It is first pay - first ship method, but it is very possible that they have more pipes of a certain year version then the other. So while they're getting the pipe for your year Maxima, they're also shipping out the ones that they have ready. So far I have not heard of anyone who got ripped off by Warpspeed and/or Dallas. These guys try their best to keep everyone happy and get their items to them as quick as possible at excellent price. Please understand, that having close to 100 people in this deal isn't exactly helping. I am pretty sure they will do everything in their power to get your product to you asap. If you have any questions, you can call them or PM me and we'll try to work things out. Good luck.

 

I payed through paypal on the first night the information was posted. I received my y-pipe last week on Friday. I didn't receive any e-mail or phone call. I didn't worry since they have done group deals before and have been doing business on the org for a while. They have been known to be slow shippers, but I received mine fairly quick. Remember, when you are in a large group deal like this you will need a lot of patience. Best of luck.
