I received mine in a timely manner, so I have no complaints.

Whatever the customer service issues may be, I want to thank Carabuser for putting this together. I'm quite sure that the time and effort he has put in is far more than he ever expected.

Thanks again.

No, I said I called Dallas AND gave you my phone #. You know you asked for my info... Here's the PM you sent me as proof...
"I will PM Dallas with your info and ask him to explain what the problem is/was. Again, as I said in my erlier posts, one explanation why Vlad got his pipe earlier than you did could be that they don't have enough 99 fed spec y-pipes in stock at the moment. Again, that's only my opinion, but we will find out more once Dallas replies. I'm sorry for the trouble it have caused you, but I'll try to do my best to solve it.

Marat K."

PLENTY of people buying 99 fed specs have recieved theirs. Dallas himself told me they were availible back on the 14th. Even though it is a first pay/first ship "concept", I GUARANTEE it hasn't gone that way or we wouldn't be having this conversation.

The lady answering the phone said, (and I quote), "The person organizing this group deal on the org sent us only a partial list, it was missing 10-20 people. Luckily, you are on the list that we recieved and it shows that you DID pay so we should be getting a pipe in the mail to you soon." (Soon must mean before the Summer starts).
I have explained everything very clearly and patiently. I have sent a PM to Dallas and he has replied, telling me that you two have already spoke. Is there any point for me to go further? NO. Right now I am forced to ingonre your posts. As I have said before, if you do not like it, why do it?

Wait till you start to realize how easily 0-60 becomes 0-80.........

To everyone that is worried about their Y-pipes:

I took part in the 1st Y-pipe deal. I was something like #60 out of 130. I was one of the first to send in my payment (Via CC). I was the second to last to recieve my Y-pipe. Why? I don't know. I was GRATEFUL ENOUGH to recieve it at the price i paid. Also, to all you people b1tching about "lynn" not doing her job, or the quality of WSP's customer service: deal with Custommaxima.com, and then tell me that WSP has bad CS.
Until you whiners (not everyone) realize that it's not just YOU that is placing an order, but EVERYONE that's placing an order, you will continue to be dissappointed. WSP, considering their normal work load and the fact that they are running these things in and out ASAP, and considering the size of their shop is doing a damn good job. Think about this logically: Why would they willingly take your money and not ship your pipe? The people that complain are giving them a bad rep. Why would they choose to bring that on themselves?

Yes, it's going to take a while to recieve yours. Why? Because:
1. There's a wait to get new product in.
2. There's a delay in assembling the pipes. Think about how many are normally sold, and how many have been sold in the past 3 months due to these GDs.
3. There's normal shipping time for the pipes.

Add all this up, and you could be waiting a month or more. Once again, WSP would rather have happy (read: repeat) customers, than a bunch of angry customers and a bad rep.

Oh, and to that one idiot that said he'd rather pay more and go with budget: Try getting a hold of someone at budget, or have them respond to you emails, or call you back. Then, enjoy that bees in a can sound. Moron.

I think we should go back to putting the people that b1tched on the end of the list.

I called yesterday and spoke to Lynn, bcuz I couldn't miss out on this deal and after some sweet talking, she gave me the group deal rate and said that it should ship out this week and they were hoping to get all orders for this gd out this week. Lynn said I will get a tracking number emailed to me. She was very nice and pleasant.
I mean really $160 for a quality Y pipe, I just paid $258 for one piece cefiro headlights on Ebay. Simply put the product at that price is well worth the minimal wait !!! I'm with fearthegecko on this one !

as impatient as i am.. i can understand where they are coming from and that it's not like they have 80 pipes on hand for every generation and emissions specification, along with catalytic converters ...

however,

i think that we do deserve at least some kind of explanation of how this will go, or time estimate, however long it may be... just for peace of mind. It's not like they are blindly making the pipes at a random pace, they have to have some kind of system in place and giving the rest of us waiting a small update would be nice.

Well, I'm finally un-banned for some BS here. I just wanted to see how long did it take for people to get their y-pipes after they got a tracking number. 2 days, 3? I personally am very thankful to carabuser for taking over this group deal and giving all of us a great deal. I also don't think we need to bash WSP at all. For sure they are going to make some money on this, because it would be a horrible business if they did all of this work for no profit, but they easily could have charged $199 shipped, or even $180 shipped and we would have bit...so hats off to them for cutting us a truly good deal. They also probably sell a few y-pipes here and there at most, so getting almost 100 orders at once probably overwhelmed them a bit. I would rather wait an extra two weeks, or even an extra month to give them all the time they need to fabricate a quality y-pipe. Besides, Maxima y-pipes probably aren't the only orders they have right now. Yesterday was the only contact I had from WSP, and that was an e-mail with a tracking number, so I am very excited and hope the shipping doesn't take too long! Thanks Carabuser.

Got mine today, got tracking # about 3 days ago. just have to be patience. IT WILL COME, IF YOU WAIT.

well be installing tommorrow, can't wait to feel the extra power. Installed a test pipe earlier in the week and it really opened up the power. Now i have a PR CAI, WS Y-pipe, MaximaRacingPipe, and Dynomax muffler. next well be the DR Mod. Can't wait to hit the track for the summer.

Also, those of you that are happy thus far, please call Warpspeed and tell them that you appreciate them hooking us up. Vendors always hear negative comments but they deserve to hear the positive ones too. Phone number is: 866-801-9338

Make that 101.... I have an order pending as well...

Patience folks... at $160 no one should be complaining. This is the sweetest deal I've seen here in ages. I bet Dallas won't want to see another Y pipe for 6 months after he gets done with this!

Cheers!

I just got my y-pipe in yesterday! As promised and within 3 days of getting my tracking number. I noticed on my invoice it shows 1999.5 Nissan Maxima VQ/...some other letters and then the letters CA at the end. Does this mean I was sent a California Emission Spec? It looks exactly like the pipe in their photo on the site: http://www.warpspeedperformance.com/nissan.htm the photo just above the cartoon cat with the scripture saying Warpspeed's original design. Is this a California Spec pipe in that photo, or a Fed spec? The reason I am asking is because I need a Federal Emission Spec and I'm not sure which one I got. I don't want to find out after I tear down the OEM that I got the wrong part by mistake. Any info from someone in the know would be very greatly appreciated. Thanks...Aleks

I have to give kudos to WSP for great customer service. I ordered a Federal Emission Spec Y-Pipe, but was accidentally sent a California Emission Spec. I called WSP on Saturday and left a msg. Dallas already called me this morning and said he will send out a Fed Spec for me, and to send the Cali Spec back. He was really nice on the phone and I am happy to see that he got back to me so quickly and took care of everything.

Or its my cali spec!! They have had my $$$ since April 7 (Paypal) and I still have not heard from them. Yes hopefully it will not be much longer but I DID call to confirm my order a few weeks ago, and according to carabuster's post #477 that means that I could have been moved to the back of the list.
I remain patient, its great to hear that some of you are getting yours.

I just got my Y-pipe in the mail today for my VE. I ordered the Y and the CAT and they both arrived in the same box. I guess I wasn't aware that it is a magnaflow cat, that's good news.

My Y-pipe and cat arrived last Friday. I am very happy with the quality of the pipe and the cat (Magnaflow). I salute the dude who changed the pipe in 2hrs with a broken arm, cause it took me all day to do the pipe and the cat. Two of the nuts on the exhaust manifold studs were rusted on so bad that the nuts didnt come off, instead the complete stud with nut attached screwed out of the manifold. Better than snapping the stud I guess. I had to cut off the rusty bolts that fasten the cat to the b-pipe with a 3" cut off wheel. The hardest part of this deal was removing the old pipe and cat. Once that was done, the WSP pipe and cat went on easy Added a new O2 sensor and I am jammin now. The car definitely pulls harder and so far my fuel economy is improved as well. If you haven't yet received your pipe, be patient guys, it will be worth the wait.

man the y pipe added some power. Acceleration improved significantly and when I start the car the vibrates and growls, no bees in the can noise which is great and no cel either now im just disappointed in the auto tranny shifting too slow.

Either that or the O2 is dirty. I had that happen. I just cleaned mine and the CEL went away.
