It says the deal is good until April 10th, does that mean that we can't buy these or get these shipped until April 10th? BTW is that yellow sticker still rated for 6-8 horsepower?

Apr. 10 means that the end of this deal is Apr. 10. I'm pretty sure they'll start shipping them earlier than that

And also, yellow sticker is only for noosteb guys, it's almost same as 50 shot, but if you don't have noost, it's useless

Is there any chance of getting the stainless steel version (obviously it would be more than $160, but similarly reduced) as a part of this deal? And for the aluminized steel version, does the 4 year warranty cover complete replacement if it starts to rust AT ALL?

Warpspeed says this: "The stock system on your Maxima is aluminized steel, they usually last from 10-12 years. We have asked several of the pipe manufacturers who have told us the aluminized will last for 8-10 years easily. The stainless will easily last the life of your car. It is more resistant to the exhaust contaminants and chemicals. It also depends on how you drive your car. If you drive only short distances and shut it off it will tend to collect condensation as the system will not dry out. It will not last as long as the driver who drives for several hours at a time and allows the system to dry out."

Well, my 99 is 5 years old and the stock y-pipe is RUSTY AS H3LL so I don't believe that. Unless you live in the south, non-SS pipes will rust and that's why I want a SS Y.

Also, does anyone know exactly how much of a gain the high-flow cat gives? MaxMods says no more than 3 HP but possibly more with other airflow mods (intake, Y, exhaust). I'm not sure it's worth it for just 3HP. Thoughts?

You'll get more HP than that. It all depends on your complete exhaust sytem and intake system. I would guess no more than 15 hp. I am getting a ebay fart-back with this y pipe. Next on the list will be intake for me.

Just wanted to let you guys know I just had my y pipe installed that I got from the first group deal. It definitely feels like it gained performance and the sound is incredible not to noticeable cruising but when you give it gas it has a deep mellow tone like a 350z IMO. btw I have berk and the rest of my exhaust is stock.

anyone tried any of the high-flow cats found on ebay for ~$50 shipped? I just purchased an OBX - H style catback, and I am going to install it when I get this y-pipe in the mail. I was wondering if the gains were worth it, and also it would save some hassals, as I could just buy new bolts, and keep my stock exhaust whole (yay for not fighting 9 yo rust!), any thoughts? Or would I be better off polluting the environment and just getting a test pipe?

Thoughts?
a lot of people wanted to get SS version for the same reason. But unfortunately this deal is only for alunimized steel y-pipe, not the SS. You can purchase SS version from their website separately, but that's gonna be more expensive. Also, as a lot of people said this: Dallas has never had any warranty claims on these pipes.

HP gain with a y-pipe, I would estimate around 12-15 hp, but again, depends on what you have. I got a berk intake and frankencar catback, I'm getting y-pipe and a high flow cat - so I'm expecting it to be a nice setup with some cool gains.

hey, that's good to know. I have few questions tho. Were there any fitment issues like with 5.5 gens? Did you install it yourself? If not, how much did you pay? I know, too many q's but it can help all of us. Thanks.

I did not install my self it cost me 60 to install well worth it to not be working under the car with a flimsy jack. I will have to go back Monday their is a little rattle under the car sound like the heatsheld should not be a big deal.It dose sound great and feels faster.
