You list the 5w-30/10w-30 weight engine oils. Is that the prices for all? ie.. Series 2000/XL7000/etc?? If not, please list the different prices.
Shipping would be to 98168 Seattle, Wa.

The 5w-30 and 10w-30 products listed are for AMSOIL product codes ASL and ATM...these are premium 100% PAO formulated products. The 0w-30 product I listed is a Series 2000 product, AMSOIL Product Code TSO. The XL-7500 products are slightly less expensive at $45.00/case ($61.20 retail). Although they are good products, I don't sell much of the XL-7500 as they are formulated with less expensive Group 3 basestocks and a less robust additive package (similar to Castrol Syntec). My total cost for a case of 100% synthetic (ASL or ATM), including WA sales tax and shipping would be $69.00 even. Your products would be shipped to you UPS from Portland, so delivery should be within a day or two. Can calculate the price for the other products if you are considering one of them. Let me know if I can help.

My cost for a case of AMSOIL 5w-20 (they don't make a 0w-20) is $45 ($61.20 retail). Total cost with FL tax and shipping is $59.79. Tax and shipping charges apply to retail orders placed through the AMSOIL on-line store as well as to orders I place for my own personal use, so you're still saving over $15.00 on this case of oil. This is a good oil...I have several customers using it in Fords and Hondas

AMSOIL does offer the ultra-premium Series 2000 0w-30 and a 0w-40 4-stroke oil which is marketed for use in recreational 4-cycle engines. My cost (including tax and shipping) on these products is as follows:

Series 2000 0w-30 $73.80 ($99 retail): $91.99 delivered

AMSOIL Synthetic 4-stroke 0w-40 $58.20 ($76.80 retail): $74.44 delivered

Your products would be shipped directly to you from the AMSOIL Product Center in Orlando, so delivery should be within a day or two from when we place the order. As stated in the original post, I accept paypal, and the e-mail I use for payments is eander2585@aol.com.

Let me know if I can help...

Thanks for the positive words. I've been using and selling AMSOIL for more than 20 years and I firmly believe in the products. I sell a lot of oil to maxima.org members and to BMW owners through their national club. I try to help people, give each customer personalized/professional service, and have a near 100% retention rate when it comes to repeat customers and downline dealers. I'm glad I could be of assistance...

Sent you an e-mail with a couple options. I can have it shipped to you, or there is a Product Center in Arlington and I can arrange for you to p/u your products there and avoid the shipping. Let me know which you prefer...

$52.20 for the oil, $62.43 delivered with NJ tax and shipping. This is a savings of $16.80 compared to if you were to order the products from AMSOIL's on-line store, and your factory-fresh products will be shipped to you from the same location. Based on your location, your order will be sent from the AMSOIL Product Center in Lancaster PA, so delivery would be within a day or two. Will send you a PM with contact info... thx

My cost for a case of AMSOIL ATF, with CA sales tax and shipping from the Product Center in Las Vegas, is $86.67. This represents a savings of ~$25 compared to if you were to order the oil from AMSOIL's on-line store.

The process is very streamlined and smooth. For your security and convenience, you can pay directly with paypal...once i receive payment confirmation (which is essentially instantaneous) I will process the order and it will be on it's way.

If you want to pay me directly with a credit card, recommend you call me to exchange shipping and payment info. Will send you a PM with contact info.

I do a lot of business using both methods and they work equally well. Let me know if I can help.

If you do a drain and refill, you will need 6 qts to be safe. Most times when I have done this procedure, the cars take anywhere from 4.5 to 5.5 quarts. If you have any ATF left over, you can use it in your power steering. If you intend to do a complete flush, you will need at least a case. Will calculate the prices and send you a PM...

Nissan recommends 5w-30 motor oil year 'round (10w-30 as an option). AMSOIL ASL (fully synthetic 5w-30) or ATM (fully synthetic 10w-30) are excellent products as they offer excellent wear protection and very low volatility. The oils resist chemical breakdown due to high heat conditions; they maintain their viscosity in high-temperature/high shear conditions; and they keep your engine clean. In recent tests, these oils outperformed their leading competitors (petroleum and synthetic) in every measurable category. My cost is $52.20/case ($69 retail). You could use the more costly Series 2000 0w-30 as an alternative, but ASL or ATM will serve you just fine.

Concerning the gear oil, my reference guide says your car takes 75w-90. AMSOIL offers two 75w-90 products...the regular synthetic for $5.85/qt ($7.65 retail) and the Series 2000 75-90 for $7.20/qt ($9.20 retail).

If interested, pls send a PM with the quantities and your preferred method of payment (paypal or telephone credit card order)...I will calculate the price with your sales tax and shipping from the Product Center in Orlando and provide payment info.

Let me know if I can help...

I can provide 80w-90 as well and it's an outstanding product; however my reference guide specifies 75w-90 for 01's and '02's. 80w-90 was specified for many of the earlier models. In recommending products, I generally try to adhere as close as possible to the viscosity recommended by the OEM.

Series 2000 products are racing-quality lubricants formulated for passenger car use. They are formulated with the best base stocks and additives available. The oil effectively reduces friction allowing engines to deliver maximum fuel economy while reducing wear and improving overall performance. Series 2000 0w-30 offers better wear protection than competing oils of higher viscosity. I use it in my own car in south TX year-'round with outstanding results. My cost on a case is $73.80 ($99 retail), plus your FL tax and shipping. Let me know if I can help.

Can you get Amsoil air filters (factory-replacement) as well? If so, how much is one to fit a 97 Maxima. And is there a "recharge" kit required?

Yes, my cost on the AMSOIL TS-74 air filter is $24.30 ($32.30 retail). The "recharge" Foam Filter Oil oil is very reasonable at $2.80/8-ounce bottle ($3.55 retail)...one bottle will last you for several applications/years. The filters have a very long service life, they provide improved air flow and filtering characteristics without modifications, and they may be washed in soap and water and re-oiled for years of use. The filters come pre-oiled, but it's a good idea to purchase a bottle of foam filter oil for when you service it. The oil is about the conisistency of honey and it is very "tacky" so as not to run off the filter over time. Your total cost for a TS-74 filter and a bottle of FFO with tax and shipping to VA is $35.50. Tax and shipping apply to retail orders placed through the AMSOIL on-line store as well as to orders I place for my own personal use, you you are truly saving over $8 on the package. Your filter would be shipped from the AMSOIL Product Center in Richmond, so delivery would be within a day or two. PayPal accepted... eander2585@aol.com

$35.50 for the filter AND the recharge kit? Shipped? Nice...that trounces the K&N prices, and provides a superior product.

One question- and you may not knwo the answer to this- Can the K&N rechage kit be used w/ he amsoil filter, or is that pretty much defeating the purpose? I have a K&N kit from my maxima, that I why I ask.

So the Series 2000 0W/30 provides better wear protection than synthetic 5W/30 and 10W/30 oils, despite being thinner? So I can use Series 2000 in any climate and it won't be too thin? Sounds pretty good....

Yes, the price I calculated it a total price...I never surprise people with hidden charges. I know many people use K&N, but they are very expensive and based on literature I have read they achieve increased air flow at the expense of filtration efficiency. The AMSOIL filter provides improved air flow, high efficiency and outstanding capacity.

I have no idea how well the K&N recharge oil would adhere to the AMSOIL filter compared to AMSOIL AFO. For the couple bucks it costs, I would recommend you go with the AMSOIL product. As another consideration, eliminating the AFO will not change your shipping as the freight charge is the same for orders under 3 pounds...so essentially you're not paying any additional shipping to get the oil. Let me know if I can help...

I've been using 0w-30 in south TX for many years with outstanding results. All the Xw-30 weight oils must fall within viscosity parameters of a 30 weight oil when tested at 100 deg C...this is a standard, industry test. The range is 9.3 Cst min and < 12.5 max. AMSOIL tech data sheets list 11.2 Cst for their 0w-30; 11.7 Cst for their 5w-30; and 11.8 for their 10w-30. So they are all very close and nicely in the middle of the range. While the 0w-30 will provide better performance in lower temps, it has the highest Viscosity Index of the three products mentioned...The VI measures an oil's viscosity changes with changes in temp. The less an oil's viscosity changes with temp changes, the better the oil protects the engine. So the higher the VI, the better the oil. The chemistry and viscosity of the 0w-30 allow it to deliver maximum fuel efficieny and wear protection. All AMSOIL motor oils have very high VI's and offer outstanding wear protection.
