Yah, it's rediculous. This is such a good deal, and it's almost about to happen. I'm in for the long run.

yeah, what the heck is wrong with that guy? there is no way you find a deal better than this. this is also the lightest one so far. those ebay pulleys for 60 bucks or so, they are 1.5 lbs. these pulleys supposed to be around 1.27 lbs. can't beat that.

You will need belts. I am unsure of the size, but its in this thread some where. I will have to search for it myself, but not going to until I get my pulley.

Post #184 has the belt sizes... ya might also wanna check out the generational forums just to confirm... they usually have that info in the Stickies somewhere...

Here are some links about the install and I'm pretty sure that the belt sizes are in these:
UDP install
UDP Install
UDP INstall
More UDP Comments
They should help everyone out.

What if you own a I30 with over 170k miles on it? The only thing that's in question in my mind is... will this UDP create more wear and tear, or actually slow down the process. If someone knows 100% that this causes more wear and tear, please let us know. Some of us might purchase this not knowing what will the true outcome be at the end of it all.

All the pulley does is it rotates the accessories slower and frees up weight from the crankshaft so there is less rotational weight that robs horsepower from the engine... the drawback is, in shrinking it and making it more lightweight, you remove the rubber harmonic balancer from the pulley... Z32 guys have yet to have a proven case of negative effects from the use of an underdrive pulley on the VG30DE(TT). I would say the older the engine is and/or the more beat up it is (if you rag the crap out of it), then yes your risk of damage might be higher, but its probably higher anyway, even without putting the underdrive pulley into the equation. I honestly would not worry about installing an underdrive pulley on any Nissan V6 or V8. Now on an inline 4... that's a different story... the harmonics of the crank rotation are completely different... but I've never heard of an actual problem on an Nissan V engine...

dude, it's the 30th already, "BRETT SANDSTORM" still hasn't come up with the pulleys, yet. what's the dillio?

my youngest brother can't wait anymore, by friday, if no pulleys out, he'll drop the dillio.

I see some people are gettin anxious. I am too, but please be patient. Brett emailed me last night and they are packing these as we speak and they are shooting for being ready to ship the begining of next week. I will post again on Monday evening or Tues regarding final payment instructions. I am reposting #410 by brett regarding completion date. i know it was stated after this as well, that that was a projected date, but not 100%. anyway, to refresh everyones memory. Thanks for hanging in, and almost everyone's patience a couple more days is all we have to wait.

(Brett Sandstrom)
Hello Everyone. Just wanted to thank everyone for taking part in this deal. We are carefully constructing those pulleys as I type, we expect them to be ready for shipment on the 28th of this month. Sorry but the american worker is a little slow here so we have had a minor delay. But be happy these aren't chinese pulleys like Unorthodox. We are doing everything possible to ensure the highest quality engine part. Thanks again everyone!!!

This was posted regarding the ship date. Unfortunatly, the additional price break wasn't able to work, so the price is still $70 shipped to your door.

Spread the word that the next price break is on its way. The 28th is still the tenative date for arrival of the pulleys, so we are getting close! I will have a new price for you hopefully by the end of the day! Lets make this one a great GD and keep the interest comming!

I don't think we need an additional price break, 70 bucks is damn cheap already! Compared to unorthodox, this is already saving you 110 bucks + shipping!

Guys i'm out.....I've decided to change the flywheel out to something lighter instead....this will get me more gains in auto-x than a crank pulley at the moment....

Any Specs on this pulley? I forgot to ask what the Ratio is.
Would it be compared to a stage1 Unorthodox?

i'm pretty sure it's the same dimensions as the unorth...x pulley. but this weighs lighter. it's weighed at 1.27 lbs where the unorth...x pulley goes to about 1.5 lbs.
